My on ball defense has gotten a lot better, I press the players a lot more and I did some adjusting to my coaching profile. I'm still doing my Grizz season. I fired the coach after a 8-8 start, signed a coach named "Perry Baxter" and it ended up being George Karl when I played the next game haha I've won two games in a row since then including a convincing win over the 15-2 Bulls.

Great slider set i will be using them as i just got the game before i had rented it..Had a question was wondering what attribute setting should i use to alter players ability to be more aggressive such as if im playing against the bulls and i want D-Rose to play more effective than the other players is there a setting when editing players to set for players to shoot the ball more? Sorry for any confusion sorta hard to explain..Comment

Great sliders overall, used in 4 games, 3 with nba teams, 1 with Euroleague teams. In superstar difficult it works just fine but in hall of fame difficulty it doesn't. I've missed too many shots on hall of fame difficulty which fall down usually in superstar difficulty.
Also, you may decrease the block tendency a little bit for both CPU and user. I get blocked too often when I make spin-lay'up. Usually it's one of the moves that is rarely being blocked by the guy defending you.
Also, I suggest you to increase the tendency of CPU's attacking to the basket a little bit because I've tried to see what would happen if I open the lane of PG while he's bringing the ball upcourt. With those sliders, he usually stands there and try to create a set play instead of using the open space in front of him - either by taking a shot or driving for a lay-up.

Also, increasing the offensive rebounding ability for user would be good. It was always lower than the CPU for me in those 4 games that I've tested the slidersBALL DON'T LIE

I also use dpowers coach profile in addition to JaMoneys sliders on 10 minutes. The only change I made is using Real FG % for shooting and free throws. I have posted a few box scores. Check out the stats. I am very happy with them.Comment

I want to start off by saying that no 2K game is perfect out of the box, but NBA 2K14 has done a great job at being a GREAT game out of the box.
With the amazing improvements in defense and spacing, there leaves only a few things to alter to perfect the game imo..
Offensively on Superstar the CPU can still tend to make some dumbfounding shots. Also the rebounding seems a bit overwhelming at times as well. Rather than bumping the shooting sliders more than necessary . I combined a small bump with improved defensive effectiveness.
In order to be successful.. you have to run plays. You must have an offense. You must generate open shots and likewise stop them from doing that. I know its early, But I've had the game for almost 15 hours and I am ready to start an OA or (Offline one) that can provide a solid challenge as well as the realism we here at OS love.

Ahhh so now I'm doing well with the Grizz but it seems my opponents are declining. Played the Nets and Garnett and Williams were not aggressive at all. I changed MY team coaching profile but it's playing as if their teams profiles have changed. Also team chemistry is stuck at 9%, c'mon 2k!Last edited by Insight23; 10-10-2013, 11:42 AM.Comment

I really like these sliders, felt good to me. Played my 1st game w/ Player Lock on my PG . 1st game of the season vs. the Heat went great. Only problem I felt that was a problem was that Derrick Rose was not playing his usual 41m or so . He played 29 . Is this because the game knows he came off injury ? lol

great sliders, been playing with the knicks... one thing i notice is everything is so key in this game, every shot, every block, if you get caught up the opposing team will for sure keep scoring on you and its VERY HARD to catch up!Comment

I use shot stick because I still like having user skill more involved. If you don't time It well you'll suffer.. it's also not like it's automatic if you get an excellent release.Comment
