I have a problem with the computer taking shots for the PF and C positions. Even though look for player in the post is high and so is backdoor cuts, it doesnt really happen enough.

Suggestions?

With the Trifecta Roster set, I seem to get a good amount of touches in the post with teams that should be posting up often. Obviously the amount should be higher to reflect real NBA better but that seems to be a 2k issue and has been for year now. Try upping Post Shots and Close Shots tendencies by 5 and see if that helps at all. I should have a new update within the next few hours, I apologize for not responding in a timely manner, but it should be more consistent now that I am in a more consistent set up. Thanks guys

Slider question guys and I didn't want to start a new thread to ask: Is there a slider I can move that will influence more forced dribble pickup animations when running into a defender rather than the out of control dribble animation? Hope I make sense..

I think I know what you mean. I think a lower ball handle/higher on ball defense forces more of a bump and potential pick up. And the attack the basket tendency lowered might prevent players from the re-attack after the bump. I hate when the CPU keeps ramming its head against the wall in Iso mode. Also, individual tendencies for drive the lane might affect the frequency of the drives and the crazy attacking.

thx raider that is exactly what I'm talking about..2k6 did a very good job of including those dribble pickups. I was hoping that I didn't have to lower ball handling as I don't want to make the cpu completely incompetent at dribbling in order to see this more.

Since im not able to create my own post, here is my slider set i generated from many different current slider sets and how i felt a sim game should feel. these sliders are designed to subdue the flaws in the default 2k14 game. it addressees the key problems from too high of scores and field goal %, too many PIP, too many blocks, not enough fouls, and defensive intensity. these sliders give you a great game from start to finish, perfect for a realistic association.

Game Speed: 48 (not much of a change but the idea is to keep shot motion and passing speed up while bringing players to a slower, more controlled speed.)

You can turn down ATTACK Basket slider and it will help some. You can also tweak ATTACK Tendency for Players as well. Sorry for Delay in response.

Dude, your missing the entire point. There's a reason why each community member has a blog area in the control panel. Plus, it's just basic common respect and courtsey. This thread is a SPECIFIC SLIDER SET FOR A SPECIFIC ROSTER SET. Having someone else just click on the thread and post their own slider set. I swear I don't think that new members that sign up on here ACTUALLY read over the terms of services and the rules that need to be followed otherwise you not only find yourself being warned, but banned.

Well that's great to hear that his sliders work to your liking. Looks like you found your slider set to play the game with, so since you found a set that your comfortable with there really isn't any need for you to comment about ours anymore.

By the way, all the time that Straight has put into tweaking the sliders specifically for our roster, he does not need you filling up his slider thread with (1) negatively talking about his work and (2) promoting a slider set that is in no relation to his work or our roster set.
