I think it is going to be an announcement of an earlier release date than last year to coincide with NBA2K16 earlier release date. What else could be so big?

I wish you hadn't. I would have absolutely LOVED to read a rant from you, that would be damn entertaining.

Mostly the rant is just that I am bound by my word to spend $150 for cards I don't particularly want unless I can complete the set, but completing the set is going to be ridiculous. I got like 12 PMs after my post looking for the last 6 cards, and almost everyone was asking me to buy the same card.

Let's make the ridiculously stupid assumption that I can get 5 of them at minimum ... that's still 37.5k, plus another 20-25k for Igoudala. So now we're up to 62.5k ... but I still have to buy two more cards from YiY, so that's 15k more ... so now I'm up to 77.5k, all of which I have to buy with real money because nothing will sell on the AH except for the cards I'm trying to dupe. (Which seems to be the point of the event, as far as I can tell).

Even with Amazon Coin discounts, that's still like $500.

Oh, and I've got a gnarly wound on my foot that's infected and making me feel unwell, and I can't get in to the local wound care center until July 10th and at any time the infection could progress enough to require hospitalization, so I'm super apprehensive about spending any money right this moment for fear of a looming $2,000+ hospital stay co-pay.

I made the deal with Yiy and had enough credits to finish it so there was no need to buy, but now he wants me to pay for two more cards, right this second, which is $90 minimum to do ... even though when we struck the deal, his portion wasn't going to cost anything.

And that's just the start...

Meh, I think it definitely has to do with this year's app. Why announce the big news when it's about an app that won't even be released 3-4 months from now.

Get yourself taken care of first before anything. I lost my grandma a few months ago all because she refused to take care of herself.

I keep my deals mate. I'm just significantly frustrated by the current situation. Some people backed out of buying PO Singles from me that I held for them (including two LBJ) once the Warriors thing came. I've got 6 or 7 PO Singles that are utter trash and worthless now.

I will drop you a line when I've bought some coins and they update and I get the 15k credit pack and can finish our deal.

After that I'll re-evaluate.



I appreciate the health concerns. I've got wound care supplies and it's basically staying about the same. It's just the length of time I have to wait to see the specialist that concerns me. Healthcare is a joke where I live.

Hold off on the cards. Real life, and in this case your health, are always more important than virtual cards that do nothing for you. Hope all is well with your foot eventually.
