I'm so happy for this signing. LMA is the perfect player to keep bringing Timmy's legacy. they have very much in common and it's gonna be good to see them play together.

ps: I think the Ws gonna be toast next year simply because their system's weeknesses were exposed in a 7 game series.

jeah the final with zidanes headbump ! Fun fact I live 10 minutes footwalk from the stadium were they played the final in 2006

Del Piero is my favorite football player. I was so sad when they lost the CL final by the penalty shoot out in 2003 and the Euro 2000 final. when they lost against France I was 7 yo and cried so hard that my eyes got inflamed, I couldn't attend swimming practices for 2 weeks.

Since you're talking Spanish football, here's my 2 cents... I support Athletic Bilbao. It's the only team in Spanish football that forbids foreign (or Spanish) players to play for them. Only Basques can play for Athletic. I think that's pretty great, especially in today's football. Sure, they dont have the success of the giants (Real and Barca), but they have won 8 championships and a lot of cups, plus they have NEVER been relegated to the 2nd division.

In the Real-Barca discussion, i am leaning heavily towards Barca's side, simply for their mentality. Sure, they spend a lot of money as their rivals do, but the last 3 times they won the Champions League, they had 6 or 7 players in their starting lineup that came from their academies (the famous Masia). Players like Valdes, Puyol, Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta, Messi, all came from there. I think that's great too.

Totally agree with you.

It is cool that Athletic Bilbao only want players from that specific area.

I can echo those things that you just said about Barça but then it would be a very long post.
