These trolls are getting out of hand...

It ends up stuffing the guys like me up, those who want to be involved in ongoing discussion about the app but because of all the trolls, the most active members aren't posting anymore, which in turn eliminates most of the discussion

If this MyTeam general discussion thread is to stay open, the level of discourse within is going to have to go way up, and immediately. I have locked this thread before and I'm more than willing to lock it again if the nonsense doesn't disappear, and fast.

The mess we've had to clean up tonight is a disgrace to Operation Sports. All of you are better than this.

Thank you to those of you who reported posts so Ryan and I could come in here and clean things up. Thank you also to those of you who aren't causing trouble and posting constructively without attacking other users or using extreme language. I encourage those of you who participate in this thread constructively to continue to do both of the things I list above.

I get home...and all hell breaks loose on the forums. I'm just going to say this once and I'll try to keep it short and sweet.

Yes, there are newer members here, some for the better and some for the worse. Not going to name any names but people are well aware of who they are if they read through the thread.

The one thing I loved about this forum when I first joined last year was it was a COMMUNITY who welcomed everyone with open arms. The last few weeks has been rough. Trolls will always exist, but why feed into their hands by continuing in engaging in meaningless arguments? (Yeah, I may have gotten into it with a select few but I won't anymore). We have enough drama and things to worry about in our real lives than some internet feeding trolls.

So moving from this post forward, let's try to get this forum back to the way it was.

The ironic thing is it was mostly the wrong people that got banned. The instigators didn't.

as a personal response to what the mods said, this thread has clearly gone downhill recently and i will be leaving it, at least temporarily to prevent antagonizing anyone and getting the thread closed.

we're all here because we enjoy the game, so let's focus on that rather than each other. sorry if anyone took offense to anything i have posted.

Whoa. Did you guys know playing guys in their proper position can give you a stat boost in MyNBA2K? Cool. Does this work for guys with two or three positions? Also, does anybody know how these freggin enhancement things work?
