All I understood from that was the cards you GRIND ALL DAY for will be worthless right off the bat because Foil cards will just end them.

The contract cards are you fricking serious Cat Daddy, they are virtual cards why the hell do we need these type of contracts on OUR cards yes the ones we grind for. I understand MyTeam contracts atleast we can actually play with them players...

And all these new "Improvements" you made, foil cards and contracts and needing 6 cards to pro ONE card just screams GIVE US MORE MONEY.

If the game becomes a big $$$ grab than it already it is, goodbye. What's the point of having laddar rewards and games played? They don't mean anything anyway just buy your way to the top.

Oh I agree with you. I don't plan to play 2k16 and even if I did I certainly wouldn't spend anything on it. I'm just saying what I got from that post is that it seems like they will make it even harder for free players to advance. I have a feeling the AH is gonna be a mess too. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after two years of their shenanigans I see no reason to.

Their record is not spectacular regarding on making popular decision, but I think that I'd be pissed if next year's game would be a simple re-hash of this year's game with small changes and new graphics.
I think we are giving them too much crap for trying to make a buck off their game as they are not in the charity business and giving everything for free without counting on people paying to "win" will force them to make a crappy and not worth playing game.
that is my opinion and how I see it. I know that many decision will not go to my liking but I accept it and can decide not to play if I find it not worth while.

im no Smartforce, but this is how I understand it:


to pro a card, you need a contract card.

the type of contract card (rookie, veteran, star) will determine how many identical player cards you need.

contract cards look to be extremely valuable, since the more powerful ones only come from packs. $$$ CD

to create the most powerful 'pro' of a card, it looks like you need a Star contract card, plus 1 or more foil versions of a card.

a foil card is a rarer, more powerful version of a card, regardless of its tier rarity.

wild cards can be any card and can help fill out the requirements of a contract.

I think the contract card determines how many versions of that card you need to have. Star contract = 2 cards required, rookie contract = 6 cards required.

yeah, thats what i understand, the amount of cards u will need to dupe depends on the contract type, but the pro version should be the same card

I wish they'd make these "wildcards" draftable, even if they were extremely rare. They seem like they could really ease the process of pro-ing.

I know I can't be alone on this, but does anyone else feel that if CD basically used a similar layout to mynbak15 with some tweaks, that the next game would be fine? I mean they did A LOT right with this game (with some flaws), but it looks like they are pretty much scrapping the whole system. I feel like they are over complicating things when the current form is nearly perfect. My rant is over.
