So now that the event has ended and people are quitting over it can we please do something about season matchmaking? It's crazy that this is never treated as a priority by the devs. People talk about RC and mention the hours and hours that they waste, but how about the FIVE MONTHS AND COUNTING that 99% of us continually have robbed from us by a broken system that goes ignored?

Their first shot at fixing matchmaking didn't go too well. Personally I've had pretty good success in seasons. Won 9 of 14 seasons, most with lineup around 2000/2200/2000/2200 (one epic pro) that I'd switch to pgs for tougher playoff rounds. Got my most recent win though with 2 epic pros and a legendary David robinson from rivals. I've had my fair share of luck I suppose but I think I've been fairly deliberate on when I start seasons to have the best chance.

I got hammered with 'Waiting for Network' and was totally unable to login last night to keep grinding for the Rivals Clash...

I dropped from rank 117 to 133 in the 1:45 (7:30-9:15) that I couldn't login. Robbing me of the Jordan card I was easily pacing to get.

Right before I was unable to log back in for that stretch of time, my rank changed to 'Unranked' but I maintained all of my points. I was watching basketball and checking my phone every few minutes to see when I could log back on.

I would like to get an answer as to why I was unable to continue to grind for the Rivals while seemingly everyone around me was able to.

I'm waiting for a response since the beginning of February concerning a bug losing me a legendary card (and some others unrelevant cards) ...

Still no feedbacks from my email since 5 weeks now ... i hope for you that you will get an answer quickly !

Their first shot at it was also long overdue, which is my real gripe. I think this is something that should've been fixed even before the first rivals event was even introduced in the board room.

I feel it will be Durant as the Rival with Westbrook as the legend, Ibaka as the Epic, and Perkins as the Rare. This would totally explain the recent Westbrook Legendary lol. Don't know who will be on the other side though, maybe Knicks?

People have mentioned a likely new/old matchup of sonics vs thunder. It'd make some sense and the sonics are the only "non-current" team (like the nj nets and hornets) who have the players in each rarity set up for a rivals payout.

Yeah, I feel a little bad for him too. But it was pretty funny how quickly he rushed to be the first one to post a pic of his new Rodman pro and everyone was just sitting here like "... I don't think that's right..."

Hey guys, just wondering if you could help me with a couple of questions regarding season play. Firstly, I'm getting crushed almost every game, and I have my best players lined up. How is the skill level of the season you enter determined? I've tried to put common players and sub them with better players afterwards, but that doesn't seem to work.

My other question is, why are my stats in season management different from the stats I see in the game summaries? It can't be energy consumption, I'm talking about a -800 point difference here.

If they do change the season rewards, wonder what they will change them too

It really needs to be an epic pack, single epic card, team pack, and 2x draft pick for the win.

The matchmaking in season play is awful. I went something like 12 seasons straight being, at best, the 2nd most powerful team. Keep at it, eventually you will find a season where you can sneak by somebody in the playoff brackets while they sleep, or you'll be matched evenly.

The matchmaking is based off of the power of your deck, or so we've been told. Mis-matching commons in and then pulling them won't impact your season's opponent generation.

The only reason your stats would appear differently in your game summaries is energy. Playing players out of position will speed up the process, but if you keep your eyes on it you can get a better feel for it. As soon as games start you can go in and recharge your players, despite them looking to be fully energized, and you will see a boost in your team's stats in the management screen.
