Duncans shotblock ability too often forced oponents take bad shots. U cant find this stat in 2003. Nów we have tools. In the past nope.
It isn't about only numbers of Blocks. Its all about lower % off from paint.

I am not using only simple numbers. I am to old be excited about boxscore. Duncan was Quiet killer. Rodman was showman. Much easier is be excited about Pink Rodman Then boring Timmie

Both was great defensors.

But only one of Them had all around defensive skills
There is plenty of details with Rodman better Then td. For sure. I like Rodman so it isn't case Pink Glasses on td only.
Pistons were my 2 Nd favorite team for decade.

rodmans showmanship? lord no. its his personality on and off the courts. Tim I agree is a more rounded player than Rodman. but we're talking about Defense alone. while Tim forces opponents to take bad shots, Rodman makes sure his opponent didnt even touch the ball, let alone shoot. Tim has a higher Basketball IQ than Rodman i get that. but Rodmans physical skills is really something. Even the legends of Open Court acknowledges him.

For anyone that was wondering it is possible to win +7 on the final 4 cards with 13 playoff pros.

At first I was using a 5-5-3 and lost both times I tried. I switched to a 5-4-4 and haven't lost since

Nice, I knew 5-4-4 works better because the 3 in the former lineup makes it tough to draw all 3 while 4 gives you guarantee 3 out of 4 in 2 position.

Yeah I was actually kind of surprised that I could win on +7. Well now it looks like I'll be able to finish RTTC and make it to tier 3!

Yeah I was down to like 38, when Thomas and silk made generous donations. I brought a 156 pack out of the gate and it lasted me all the way until Horry. After finding a lineup that can win +7 I bought a 75 pack and I still have like 1200 credits left now and I'm going to make the finals in my season, and hopefully win it to get more credits.

It should be pretty smooth sailing to Duncan from here.

oh its ok, its his opinion and i respect that. but im definitely sure were talking about individual defense so im kinda baffled why the discussion always switching to team defense. haha. im 110% sure the number on the cards reflect their individual stats, not their teams. so i dont know where the issue is lol.

As far as I'm concerned it's not really debatable. Duncan has always been a great defender, but Rodman was otherworldly. He was absolute crap on offense and a fruitcake too, and yet every team would have loved to have him. He was obviously an amazing rebounder, but his defense might have been even better. The dude could cover anyone and either shut them down or at least slow them significantly. It was awesome to watch him play.

Good to know. I'm currently at 11 PO Pros with my reset coming soon. (I'm at around 310 clears). Hopefully it's a dupe. If it's not then I might just decide on doing +5 for the last 4 cards

I only have 1 playoff pro and 2 star pro so I had to +2 Billups. I currently have 43/420. Best I drafted are leg bellamy and leg ibaka

He was obviously an amazing rebounder, but his defense might have been even better.

He was an amazing rebounder because of his otherwordly defense. You have to get into some of the nuances of basketball that get a little too geeky for the normal fan but he knew how to use his body for leverage and positioning better than anybody that I have ever watched play.

The three years that he played with the Bulls had 3 of the absolute greatest ever at what they did. Jordan obviously gets love for being one of the GOAT's and is probably the most competitive player to ever walk the courts. Pippen doesn't get enough credit for being such a fluid, smooth offensive presence in the open court and one of the best team defensive players ever because of his tremendous length and athleticism. Then you add in Rodman's completely insane understanding of the mechanics of defense and rebounding plus his total unselfishness offensively and you had a perfect combination of HOF players to dominate a league. All three possessed gifts that could not be coached and only come through natural talent and then years of honing those skills through ridiculous amounts of hard work.

Just think, Ignazz, if he could have found a way to make it in San Antonio then he might have mentored Tim Duncan right along side David Robinson.

Rest don't matter. Filler cards should be cards that have +team abilities if possible. Your goal is to win 10 matchups. Don't worry about anything else. It doesn't matter if you win the doubles or the singles as long as you get a total of 10 or more.
