Had 7k to spent. Really wanted Malone but I got this crap card.

I am now officially retired from MyNBA2K15. Will see how difficult they make the new app and then will decide on if it's worth playing. Atm it seems like a big cash grab with CONTRACTS being added to play cards you already own. (20 points off tier 3)

One clarification on '16, Contracts are not needed to play your card. They are simply used in the new way to Pro cards together. Instead of just needing 2 of the same player to Pro, you will need a Contract and 1-5 additional copies of the card or Wild Cards. The number of extra copies depends on the Contract you use. The higher quality Contracts require less copies. It does mean you can Pro a single copy if you get enough Wild cards (they are hard to get). We also got rid of the concept of an imperfect Pro. You just level the one card you want to Pro in order to sign the Contract. The other cards can be unleveled.

Exactly how I feel about it too! I loved this game for its simplicity. I admit I hate the 3/2 get around to win easier and I wish we utilised more of our cards that we worked hard for (RTTC did solve that in my opinion but not for QG and RC) but the contracts etc sounds confusing as of this point. On the flipside, at least they're innovating! Just hope not too much

Simplicity of play has always been a strength of our game, and something we always strive to maintain. I like to call it the grocery line design. If I can't stand in the grocery line and get something done in the app in that time, and put the phone down as soon as the cashier is ready, then we need to change something.

With that said, we are making changes. This is the third year of the app, and we want to keep it fresh, new, and exciting. As some pointed out from '14 to '15 we made some big changes (tires handled very differently, RttC, AH), but I think most would agree those were fun additions to the game while keeping the heart of the game in the same place. We're trying to continue that level of innovation while still keeping you playing on the grocery line. :-). Soon enough we'll see how you all like it.

Nope, so please stop asking. When we do announce the release date, you will not have to ask as we will broadcast across many many channels.

Regarding those wild cards being hard to obtain, do you have any more details you can share? Like are they draftable but extremely rare or are they only available initially in packs? Thanks

We are still play testing and tweaking numbers so take what I say with a bit of a grain of salt. The Wild cards do drop from the board but are very rare drops. They also drop from a card pack that you buy with the new RP currency. The drop rate is not high but better than the draft rate.

I haven't read back yet to see the whole thread, but there seems to be an assumption that MyNBA2K16's card leveling system will be the same at WWESuperCard's. It isn't the same at all. There is not a token concept, or leveling cards through playing. There is customization, like being able to put your own Abilities on a card, adding Enhancements (like in '15), and Stat Charging individual stats. It is very different than SuperCard. We wanted the games to have more of their own identity and play styles.

Thanks for the clarification. As you can imagine a lot of us who have play my2k15 long enough still don't quite understand the explanation on "how to train / pro a card" in my2k16 AFTER reading the tumblr post. For that, some of us go to WWE to find some clues.

I respect that! I would have understood a simple no...its not professional to express your frustrations in a thread of your paying customers...just me thinking business minded and courteous. But yes i respect the work Gamedad does and understand stress as a working man myself! No need to take it out on the thread lol

@NWGameDad how do you guys stand on "card archiving"? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who'd love to have some sort of record for the cards I've worked hard for other than a screenshot. Would something in that sense be a possibility?
