The only problem we're really seeing with the event were the network problems near the end. It was "fair" in that everyone was encountering the same problems at least, but completely agree that it was not a fun experience for those last few hours.

First off, this is the most cop-out response you could ever give. Secondly, this isn't true, as users on here detailed different experiences with the last couple hours of the event, even some saying they were able to play up to the end. If "everyone was encountering the same problems", then how would people have been passed within the last 10 minutes, some by 20+ spots. That is too obvious for you to expect us to ignore.

Here is what I want to find out in this game:
In 2K15, will we save our progress?
What are the teams for the next Rival's Event?
Will there be a trading system in the future?
Will the Epic Packs be less expensive?
Will Epic Cards and Legendary cards slightly have a better chance of drafting them? Because in the XBOX and PS4 2K Games, its pretty easy to get like Gold Players and Legends.

I hope CatDaddyGames will read this post and to others too.

Hey NW haven't seen you in a while :P Are we gonna get some sort of trading/marketing/ new game mode anytime soon? And may I request a better picture for Kobe Rival card, it doesn't show the will and passion kobe has. The legendary Kobe shows it, but the rivals, not so much.

Trading is not in the cards (badum bump) any time soon. I wrote a design for something similar but honestly we have other things we want to do first.


New game modes is something we continue to work on. Not for the next update (or maybe the one after), but we have a design of something new already.

NW thanks for giving Jordan the proper card numbers he deserves. Its nice to be able to use him for offense when needed and not lose to players who were not as good as he was.

It's not a cop out, it's the truth. People experience connection problems for all kinds of reasons throughout the week. The chances of someone having problems near the end of the event because of our servers choking was the same. I can't speak for all the random things that occur on your internet connection, your router, your ISP, how our servers load balanced someone, etc. Bottom line, bad luck occurred for some people that prevented them from playing the final minutes of the event. Not something we are happy with and we are increasing our servers for the next event to prevent it from the future.


As for rapid passing in ranks, a few of the top ranks were separated by less than 50 points. Getting bumped down 20 ranks in 10 minutes was entirely possible and it happened. Nothing unusual about that level of play in the final minutes (for those that were able to stay connected).

We are not talking about our 2k15 plans yet. When we do talk about them, I'll be sure to post on the forums.


I will announce the next Rivals Event teams later this week.


There will not be a trading system in the near future.


We are currently happy with the price of Epic Packs.


We are working on some new reward systems that will increase the chance at Epic+ cards and put it more in the players control of how they get those cards. This will not be in the next update. More on this later.

We are still trying to find the bug. It's really a bizarre one. As soon as we have a fix for it we will get it out there.

Getting bumped down 20 ranks is much easier when you aren't able to play...that was my whole point...

NWGAMEDAD, for the second rivals event, I had a 2 day connection problem and tried everything to fix it, even tried to use my limited 4G, but still did not work. I was aiming for rank 2000 and down, but before the connection problem happened, i was ranked 1654, and thought I could achieve the Tim Duncan Epic pro. The last two days, the connection went seriously wrong, and I was bumped to 2845. I had about 6 hours left, and tried, but the +3 and the +5 games were useless and hardly did anything to my rank. I only ask you kind sir, if I can just get one more Epic Tim Duncan for my unfortunate event. Thank you, I appreciate it.

Stay tuned on the rewards front. We have stuff in the works.


I will post about the next update later in the week. I just need time to type it up. The next update focuses more on the cross pollination of the console game and MyTeamMobile.

That was a one time thing mainly to get some concentrated testing done on our servers before we released the first Rivals event. Do not count on us doing this again in the future.
