Don't forget that there's two currencies!

Regarding the legendary packs I don't know really because I didn't start the game this early last year. Came in during MVP star packs when packs cost 14k if I remember correctly

A couple things, the Hot Streaks will cost RP. Game Nights for Road to the Championship will cost Credits. At least that is the plan so far, we reserve the right to change it as always, but that's the plan.

The only place you can't speed up game play right now is when Abilities trigger or Supports are played. Something we have fixed already in an Update that we're working on getting submitted very soon here.

The Ladder is interesting. Obviously we purposely made it much shorter this year. As you get higher up in the number of games played, it becomes harder from a design standpoint to get the rewards right since it is difficult to predict what is useful to player that has played 10,000 games. It's good for early play, but once you get to mid-late game it gets wonky. So we capped it at 1000. Maybe we expand it in the future, but not really thinking that way. Mainly because we look to Goals as replacing the need for higher end Ladder rewards. Goals are much more expandable, and relevant no matter how many games you have played.

I really like the goals thing. That does seem like a really good way for you guys to balance things if they swing a little away from player reward.

As far as the Ladder goes ... I'm pretty sure that a foil at your current tier would be really useful for everyone. Perhaps like add another one at 2500 games, and then maybe (if your tech can do it this year) add in a couple more for the next tier at like 5,000 and 10,000 games played ... and then (assuming we have 2 additional tiers this year again) the final two maybe could be like 20,000 games and 30,000 games played, or something like that.

Then you give folks a couple of good cards at each tier as a bonus for playing a lot of games. You could even make the first two cap at Legendary whenever the next tier comes out so people don't keep their game count down in hopes of getting more in the next tier.

Could be a revenue driver as well. Getting a Foil at whatever the current top tier at the time is means I want to get it all specialized and then I need a star contract (credits only) and a wild card to make it pro.

Just kind of spitballing ideas on release day here.

Hi all, the the regulars who stayed til the end of 2K15 and to the ones returning for 2K16!

I've been moving (apartments) the last few days and I still have unpacking to do so I won't open the new app til I have free time and not waste the "pick doublers" we wasted so much time just to get the loyalty rewards.

Plus once I open this new app, my life will officially be over - again. lol. Been enjoying the break to be honest.

To those already playing, got any tips?

P.S., also should we start making 2K16 trading and selling threads?

The doubler doesn't start when you launch the game. It starts when you go into the goal section and claim it. Feel free to play a bit before starting the timer.

Double picker doesn't start until you activate it via goals, I think people have been playing without havin it activated yet

Don't start a season when until you reach a tier you want. I made the mistake of starting one at SR and I'm kicking myself when it could've been legendary already! Save wild cards for very important cards man
