I finally completed the foil Rose, and then the game doesn't give me the card. What a phenomenal waste of time.

It's a glitch. Log out and log back in. Same thing happened for me with foil Sabonis.

I'm not going to blow a big hissy fit about this RttC. It's only a foil leg and not really worth it in the long run. I'm just going to grab my 8 picks and be content on improving my LU via the board.

that's a good attitude souf. being this early in the game, it isn't expected for everyone to complete through the rttc. people were still trying to get a full legendary pro season lineup, much less a full rttc one.

I know everyone is having a hard time swallowing this first RttC, so I just wanted to put some perspective into things.

Last RttC of 2k15:

• Started on Midnight Friday (from what I remember)
• Time available: 66 hrs
• Time needed if can go +14 all the way: 69.3 hrs (GNs needed)
  

First RttC of 2k16:

• Starts 9 AM Thursday
• Time available: 81 hrs
• Time needed if can go +14 all the way: 53.9 hrs
  

The +14 is for comparative purposes only since HS can be bought using freely earned RP. It would only take a 156 HS and 75 HS pack to cover it (about 216 games to complete). I didn't want to bore everyone with the math, but I'd be happy to share if needed.



Let me know if I missed something (it happens on occasion).

I have a question, +7 Rose is the same as +5 Rose foil?

Yes. +7 foil Rose is much harder due to multiple 18/20 trained Leg MVPs being in his deck.

Yes but hot streaks could be purchased freely in 2k15 via the auction house. You could sell training fodder and make enough credits to complete rttc. This year the price to complete it has sky rocketed and there's no way to do so without paying actual money.

People seem to think they're entitled to get the best card that's the problem here. You either have to put in the time or pay money you can't just expect to get things for nothing. And if you do put in the time then it is very much possible to get the best card without spending real money so anyone who claims that's it's not is just simply wrong.

I really don't think that people feel they're entitled to the best card. To make a statement like that is to let CD off the hook for the senseless changes that they made to RTTC but we can agree to disagree.

when you say hot streaks or do you mean game nights? if so, you're correct. that's the biggest drawback.

however, the extra 27 hours of time (in the +14 case) alleviates the need for game nights if you play consistently. in 2k15, even if you played every free game night, you'd never finish without using credits.

It's comments like this that push cat daddy to see just how far they can take it. The biggest concern is the increase in price, points and time required to complete games compared to last years app. At this rate playoff cards will require 80 hours of game nights at 100% +14s or cost $150 cash to complete

At the same rate I could get 5 rc cards.
