Top of the tier guys are not going to throw 500k rp at a card that is in the 7th best sub-tier of the star tier. Somebody will because there's always one, but not the top guys. Especially since any card worth having in this tier will pretty much require WCs or a lot of luck. Need that RP for extra packs.

You say that but other than the top guys who's bidding 1 million RP on the skybox cards? So as much you may think the top guys won't throw their weight around to get the early edge for seasons and such somehow I see the top guys going after the early stars especially pro'd ones. Will they go for 500k? Who knows...

1 million on 4 spec MVP MJ or 4 spec losing RC cards that were among the best cards at that time is no where near the same as paying half a million rp on a card that can be beaten by 6 types of theme cards.

Like I said, somebody will do it. More than likely, more than just one. But there won't be a lot stalking AH for the opportunity to spend 500k on a lowly regular star card.

I only have 14k RP at the moment myself lol. Hopefully I can get to 24k before RTTC so I can buy the 75 HS pack and try to ride that out as long as possible

The 500k was mentioned in regards to pro'd Star cards not singles. As for skybox how many of us have said something here on the forum as to how dumb it was spending 1 million RP on some of these skybox especially lately when we knew star tier was coming? Yet there were plenty of ppl willing to bid on those cards. If you really think those ppl will just disappear once star tier is live you are probably sadly mistaken. As for star being beaten by 6 types of theme cards...looks to me like star base is the highest (at least for a couple of weeks until they release some other pack only card)

Those who have been selling all resets and auctionable pros for weeks now on top of quick selling and goals. Of course, this includes those transferring RP through multiple accounts as well.
