So after an 8k pick drought I pulled an epic Half Time Show last night (I know, great luck!). And this got me thinking. How good does a support that impacts only one player have to be for you to play it over something that impacts the full team?

I now have a Legendary Double Team (-25 DEF and BC Opponent), Legendary Hot Hand (+30 MG Self), Epic Coach (+20 OFF and MG Self), and an epic Half Time Show (-15 MG Opposing Team) plus all your standard rares. Would you play a rare Technical Foul or Hot Streak above the legendaries that only effect 1 player? What about over the epic Half Time Show?

I'm thinking about going with my legendary and epic supports and skipping the rare hot streak from my lineup this season to see how it goes. Any thoughts from those of you lucky enough to have multiple epic/legend support cards?

I don't think anyone actually has a clue. I personally go with single player epics over full team rares.

Always play the team cards in season. The individual cards are good for quickgames, the team cards give your team a greater stats boost and they affect all 4 quarters of your season game.

Ezquerro, we're in the same season! We played the first game against each other. So far 3 games in, and i've played 2 teams that are 1k+ stats on me. Oh well...

I can tell you I've already played 5 guys with higher stats than yours. Looks like you're in the middle of the pack. I'm sorry, man. Looks like another unbalanced season with 5-6 trucks.

Whoever thinks that giving away an epic pack or two for winning a season would cut into their profits is delirious. First off, not to be a dick but their business morl compared to the console version is absolutely uncomparable. $40 gets 160,000 vc on the console and can easily get you an entire team of top players. The only thing keeping me here as i said before is the chase for rivals cards. If i played this game with the belief they would fix every problem and make it competitive relative to deck strength and improve rewards for qg and seasons mode i would be worse than the guys crying foul on their profits. This game is in its infancy and the only thing CatDaddy did was see how much they could make from a rudimentary card game with an NBA license and 2k backing.

Im sorry but whoever thinks this game will ever be what you want it to be by the time this game is still relevant better quit now and save yourself the disappointment.

They don't need to milk you as much for micro transactions. While a lot of users probably found the my team mobile card game from said 60 dollar console game it wasn't a requirement and at least a few of my friends play who don't own nba2k14 at all. If nobody bought epic packs at 20 they might have lowered prices. That's not what happened. They set a price and found sufficient demand for it.

Remember the good old days when you bought a game , and they put everything the game had to offer in the game ? Now its buy a game , then buy a map , then buy armor , clothing , weapons , players - on and on and on , I wonder what it would actually cost to have everything a game you bought has to offer , prolly a few thousand for every game , call of duty , nba , nfl etc.... But like you said and the way life works , if they are willing to pay , Charge Em.

So can we get a quick roll call of who certain people are going for this event. Keep in mind that no one person influences which team wins overall lol Personally, I am going for the Pacers because I like Paul George and would like to see his rivals card in action

I'm gonna have to stay up till 3am playing quick games waiting for the rival to start. In eastern time it's 3am when the rivals start. Hoping for my 3rd epic picked.

Is there a minimum numbers of picks before you can start complaining about an epic drought? I really wanted to whine about my 5,600 pick drought, but then I saw Ezquerro's 10k+ drought and decided to shut up. Can we come to a consensus on this?

I have two epics pulled out of about 2500 picks total. They were 600 picks away from each other. They were Dennis Rodman and Zach Randolph.

I'd say hitting 4k picks without an epic/legendary is when things start to feel reaaaaally redundant. Ideally you would draft one every 2-2.5k picks. But, as we all know, you can draft one now, another within 100 picks and then be epicless for what it feels like forever.
