3 good Pro rares (make sure they are properly combined and upgraded) + 2 commons does seem fairly effective. Send out the commons first to get some of their better players and then your pro rares usually beat up their rares and below. You can also try to identify people you can consistently beat and just play them over and over. I usually like one super high def/mg type, and 2 all arounders for my pro rares. There are probably other strategies that work too like using pro uncommons or using even commons + a rare all stats team (either yours or theirs) support card. The pro rares version saves some inventory space though.

When i go pro rares in lieu of my epics my match-ups get more difficult.

I had ONLY 29 picks, and using turty's format, got two rares (kendrick perkins and a support) and two energies. Not bad at all for just 29 picks, really like the format. Thanks turty!

I'm using 2 commons 2 uncommons and 1 rare and saving up to 100 picks, cause someone got an epic kobe from the draft like this c:

Lol one of the guys that has 5+ pro legendaries and 2 different pro Jordans didn't combine a few of his legendaries correctly (didn't max out before combining)

spends thousands on packs but doesn't pay attention to the clear tutorial, and has minimal quick games played ..

The mistake we've all made when starting out in the game, we've done on uncommons and rares etc. This guy unfortunately made it on legendaries.

most of the guys who buy all their legends dont combine them right because they never learned about the game and just want to be the best....i seek them out in quick games and feast knowing my legends and max pro epics will beat them down

after sitting on them for a few days now pulling back to back support epics has made me lose all desire to quick game again... way to go luck >< way to go

Well, NW has really talked up support cards and how much of a difference they really make in season. So on the bright side, you do have important cards that others aren't able to buy even if it's not sexiest card to have support instead of a player

but they are crap ones... +15 BC team....does me no use when i have +7 and -7 all stats

I decided to give the "pattern" one last shot before giving up on it. Stockpiled 325 picks. Went through only 22 boards (14.8 picks per board clear average), and got 19 energies and 3 rares. This pattern seems to be about as random as my normal drafting strategy (going one-by-one from right to left). I'm averaging about 1 epic every 5,000 draft picks (I've drafted 5 epics and gone through about 25k picks). That seems pretty low compared to some of the estimates I've seen here.

Are the people who are getting better drop rates on Apple or Android? I'm beginning to think there might be a difference based on platform. I'm on Android, by the way.

lol the pattern really doesnt make you get luckier, its alll random its just the placebo effect...you want to believe!!!

i play on apple...i got 1 legend and 6 or 7 epics from 12k ish picks
