Soooo much hate here... Lets just be happy that they made this app. Its fairly new, so there is going to be bugs, and as they update, there will be bugs. But i agree that some of their options aren't that good. Like taking the back button away...

For an event that demands a lot of our time and commitment in order to do well, I think it's justifiable that everyone is livid. People play around their schedule, and all these issues are pretty much ruining their week when people can't play during the free time they set aside. People pay for their business, and they're not delivering.

What bugs me the most is that no one has the dignity of showing their face on the forums and tell us if they have a final fix to the problem, if they don't, if they're gonna do something about it, if they're gonna wipe their asses with our complaints... nothing, just silence and constant network maintenance.

There's a thing called beta-testing.

Yup, They could had even said guys you might expect severe crashing for a week , and launch the update after rivals and nobody would had had a problem, we would had beta test for them that week happily

I agree with Zpardue on this. I got 13 "likes" from members of this forum in 2 minutes to the idea of a modified reward that would give each participant the reward from both the Knicks and the Pacers. I know there will be more who support this as a proposed olive branch to us loyal customers.

This might not be a classic negotiation, but we, the loyal game-playing forum members certainly carry some weight with the company. Who pays their bills? Who has the power to delete the app and spread word to friends to do the same? We do! And GameDad and his colleagues have listened to many of our ideas before, even the stuff we didn't want them reading about! like fun little shortcuts that quickly got nixed, but in many instances, they are showing that they very much care what we think.

I brought up the idea here on the active thread (along with another member Gundamduo), because I wanted to get an idea of whether a good number of forum members supported the idea so that I (or maybe our beloved poster-boy Twista?) could propose it to GameDad in another part of the forum, perhaps the RivalsClash thread, the Feedback thread, or maybe see if Twista will start a new thread about "Proposed remedy to Knicks/Pacers rivals clash problems". Who and what do you think are the best ways to make a case to Cat Daddy on this? Twista, I don't mean to put you on the spot with this. I'm happy to just post the idea to the Feedback or Rivals thread if you and others think this would be most effective.

Overall, I think a unified request for dual rewards on this troubled tourney might be well received.

I would love an enhanced awards overall. Ive been waiting on the season rewards update for ages now. And i completely understand your point on the high spenders on this forum. But every thing that CD does to this point seems like an antithesis of the argument that they would cower under a combined threat of people deleting this app. I for one think that this rivals event unexpectedly has an unusual high number of paying players. Of ourse I have no data to back it up. In response, CD made a move mid event to discourage hotstreak buyers. This gave me the impression that above all else, albeit profit is one of their prime objectives, CD has its own unassailable idea of what their game should be.

At the end of the day, i think we and CD know that however serious our threats to leave may sound. The nature of this game is so addicting and that no matter how much support you may have on this crusade ( myself included), only a fraction of the fraction of the support will follow through with the ultimatum ofleaving the app for good.

I certainly hope Im wrong though and that CD would give us our due compensation for the inconvenience.

Can we all band together and ask Twista, the face of the community, to post a new thread requesting answers and formerly asking thing things that everyone is asking? No way in hell NWDad can miss or avoid giving us answers.
