After the Rik Smits legend experiment I'm actually excited about the Suns. It really means anyone is in play for their legend and rivals card. Barkley, KJ, Nash, Young Amare (or Joe Johnson or Marion), Old Shaq, 1990 Tom Chambers!

But who would they be against? I think of Suns/Lakers but they already did the Lakers. They've had trips to the finals against against Celtics and Bulls but both of those have been done too. If I'm going to take a shot in the dark as to the opponent, I'll go with Portland. Maybe they can play up the 2 western conference teams beating expectations this year.

Other than barlely idk who they would use for suns legendary, maybe amare, j Kidd Kevin Johnson, or Shawn Marion. As for mavs Finley or backmon come to mind

From the Rivals Clash thread posted about a month ago. Is this foreshadowing?

Ok Rivals Clash fans, I'm looking for input from the community on what Rivals you would like to see in the future and which players you'd like as rewards (if you don't see a player in the catalog now we might be able to add him so go all out). I know I saw some cries for a Dan Majerle reward with a Suns rivalry. What else?

And Finley rookie for the Suns! I just want a KJ card even though he's not in the game. In his prime Amare would be cool too. Maybe they could do rivals Nash, Legend Amare, Epic Marion from the '04-'07 seasons.

It most likely will be the Suns vs Mavericks because they dont really have another rival besides Lakers. If it is i bet Twista will play his heart out until he gets the pro RC Dirk

What sucks about rivals is when you think of rivalries in the NBA they pretty much involved teams that were already in use such as the Lakers and Celtics, there are so many great rivalries involving other teams, same could be said about spurs, bulls, Knicks and pacers as well, not too mention individual player rivalries like Jordan/Bryant for instance or bird/Johnson or even bird/Wilkins and so on and so on there really is no limit to the possibilities of rivals they could do

You have to add LEDGEND Dan Marjerle,but for the mavericks add RC Dirk,Ledgend Jason Kidd and for the epic use Vince Carter or Monte Ellis.
