I understand you being one of big players of this game you're a little more upset... okay a lot more upset over these issues lol compared to someone like myself.

Honestly at this point what is CD going to do to make guys like you and Twista happy?? A more detailed apology, free cards, credits etc...

In the end CD is a business and the only goal they have is to turn a profit.

Exactly why I made my suggestion. They are a business and when something "hurts" their business, like having to give away the better cards in the game when it was intended to only give one set out, then they will focus on the issue at hand and come up with a solution. I drafted the Legendary Hot Streak during the last rivals. I took a screen shot as I do with all Legendary drafts. The server crashed and the card was no where to be found. CD looked into the issue and all they said was they could not find any evidence I drafted the card and that was it. This happened one other time but they gifted the card that was lost with no evidence at all. Now my catalog was wiped out for the 2nd time and it has now been 2 weeks and there has been no response to my issue nor has it been fixed. By the way I was nearly at 85% completion before the 1st catalog wipe out and when they fixed it, it was only around 74% complete. They still have not responded to what will be done about my missing cards.

I agree and disagree at the same time, out of a perspective that I like you Monarch I feel bad for you, as for the whole my 2 cents are:

It's always a few that will be "punished" we need to remember that there's 40k people who joined last rivals, and even if you just did 1 game you got 300 credits, which is great for them, so % they made the mass happy, but they can't satisfy everyone.

Sure they could micro manage to keep the top happy. But we know they won't do that unfortunately

as for alot of people saying "I lost hours due to maintenances" yea they did. But didnt everyone else also have the exact same network error problem which means no one had a edge?

I doubt we'll get anything out of this discussion.

See it this way, nba 2k14 is a broken game, the online futures doesnt work(I mean the real game, the console version) And they havnt handed out anything for them, so we should be happy about the little we get, instead of nothing I guess.

I remember when playstation was hacked and I couldnt play for months, my gift was "pick 2 free games" these games where low end games that lasted 3 months before expiring so...yea

I remember Sim city last year physically was un playable out of the box. It was so bad Amazon was refunding money on open copies of a PC game and EA eventually gave us all a free game of course it was a choice between 5 games that were $39.99 and lower but hey at least it was something.

The moment G2zone made a suggestion that the retribution for last time should be based on tiers, it was shut down. Why? I've not seen a good (or any) answer to that. The server down time? I know everyone suffered, thats why i haven't made a lot of fuss about it then (though i felt they did longer maintenance at US night time, Europe prime griding time). I just feel the whole thing was handled poorly, but thats just me

Damn Twista I had no idea you were getting screwed over so bad. You are truly CD #1 customer they by all means need to fix those issues ASAP!

Thanks bro! I hope that helped make things clear but all I want in return is to make it right for everyone else playing this game. Many players have come to me and asked me to be the voice of the community and I have accepted. The only way for anything to change or get better will be going to Cat Daddy as a group and all on the same page. I know one thing, if I do not get my cards back, drafted and purchased then I will be going after that LLC Cat Daddy owns. I looked over the federal laws etc and that is in fact a form of theft. This might get interesting.

Yea It was pointed out after my post that it was mostly eurotime the problems occured so then it affects the scoreboard for sure.

As for the tiers, this is how it rolls, i'll answer twistas catalogue + legend draft problem in here:

When they send out 300, they code it out, a mass select. Kinda like copy pasting, instead of scrolling through a db to find a user to manually change.

My guess is, let us say they wanted to give top 25 1000 instead of 300, the ones that came 26-250 would be really angry and say they werent top 25 due to network errors and so on.

In this case they can never satisfy everyone but for the single individual it sucks, and unfortunately(and like in all games) it's always the "core" players, the ones that play the most that gets the worst hit.

As for the catalogue, I think they got problems with the inspections, when they restart the server and do a backup, the history log is to short to keep track on your cards, kinda like your web browser "history" button of last visited homesites.
If they increase it, they'll need more space for information on their servers, and my guess is if they increase it right now without expanding the server size, they also gamble with having a slower game with network issues and inspections.

as for the legendary draftpick you had Twista, when the server goes down it does a rollback, most servers have a 1 to 5min rollback, which means the last minute was never counted, kinda like turning back time, and everything that happened after that minute is erased from the server history. Which would explain why they can't find it

Agreed but if multiple players end with the same amount of points and one of them gets the top prize and the other 2 don't how could they possibly explain why the other 2 didn't.
