re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
You could try to start with 5 common cards and sub in your 5 highest ranking cards...its worth a shot

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I don't know if there is anything to this but I believe I found a way to get more rares out of the draft. I had gone roughly 20-25 board clears with no rares or better all energies. During this time I had 75+ total cards. Last night I sold all the cards that weren't rare or uncommons I had maxed and ended up with around 35 cards. The next two draft boards had rares on them and I have gotten three more today while keeping my card number to a maximum. Maybe someone else can test this and see if it coincidence or there is something to getting better cards is you have less cards.Comment

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I lost in the finals in my 2nd season, pulled Ilyasova and two Okafor's. Not sure if he's going to be better then my Varejao Pro or Cousins. I'm in a bit of a dilemma anyways. I have a Kirilenko pro who is better in offense, defense and mental game then Peja Stojakovic, but since Stockton, Peja and Avery are my only players who can matchup in ballcontrol I'm leaning towards Peja. Aldridge, Kirilenko and Varejao all have under 100 in ballcontrol which would make me pretty harmless in that category.
What do you think?
Oh and some questions:
1) Is it true, that the draft pick that includes a rare, epic or legendary player replaces the energy card? In other words, if you have a rare/epic/legendary card on your draft board, is it possible that you still hit the energy card before you find it?
2) Has anyone noticed some kind of system, when rare cards show up? Like for example after 10 energy cards, you get a rare card on your board?
3) Has anyone noticed some kind of system where rare player cards show up? I realised that many times the energy cards were hidden in the corners.Last edited by iker30; 12-04-2013, 09:01 AM.Comment

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
My friend and I were complaining about this a couple nights ago. There's a laundry list of legendaries that aren't as deserving of that status as Stockton. Also, unless I missed it, I was surprised that they only have two thirds of "Run TMC".
I was about to post the same. I generally speed click through all the matchups. But when it gets down to a decisive matchup, I'll slow down enough that I don't click through the final scoreboard. Once the deciding individual matchup score is shown, you have to click the winning player's card. This will take you to the screen/graphic that Drakelico is talking about. You have to click the player card to get credit for the game (win or lose) and get your pick(s), but once you're past that, you can click the back button. Not only can you hoard picks (which I find a lot more gratifying), but I think it's a good bit faster.
I just finished up my craphole season where I started with ALL commons and then subbed in what I thought would be ringers. It seemed to have about the same quality of teams as when I did exactly what you just described. I'm going to start a new season tonight (and avoid the dreaded overnight playoffs) and just go with my best possible lineup. I'll let you guys know if I can tell any significant difference. I think turty might be right that after your initial tournament, it just assigns you with random people. Or it could be that it uses your whole deck to determine things. *shrug*
I don't find this highly likely, buuuut... I was kind of wondering the same thing. I went on a horrible dry streak yesterday that got me paranoid about everything I was doing. And I did notice I was carrying a lot more cards than usual. I'm about to clear a bunch out, so hopefully my luck will change. I'm still leaning more toward coincidence, but I was certainly wondering the same thing.I don't know if there is anything to this but I believe I found a way to get more rares out of the draft. re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
1. There's no way to conclusively prove it. But all evidence indicates there's one "reset" card per board. That "reset" card can be an energy card or a rare+ card. I factually know that there can be a board with no energy card. And I've also seen boards with no rare+ card. I assume there's never both, but since the board gets reset when you find one, I can't prove that.Oh and some questions:
1) Is it true, that the draft pick that includes a rare, epic or legendary player replaces the energy card? In other words, if you have a rare/epic/legendary card on your draft board, is it possible that you still hit the energy card before you find it?
2) Has anyone noticed some kind of system, when rare cards show up? Like for example after 10 energy cards, you get a rare card on your board?
3) Has anyone noticed some kind of system where rare player cards show up? I realised that many times the energy cards were hidden in the corners.
2. I'm confident it's just a percentage chance. I'll go with turty's number that the "reset" card has about 90% chance to be energy and 10% chance to be a rare+. Within that rare+, I shouldn't even guess, but maybe 98% rare, 1.9% epic, and 0.1% legend. Completely made-up numbers, but gives a decent visual.
3. I think it's pretty random. Any pattern I noticed, I'd probably attribute to expectation bias.Last edited by wolowizard; 12-10-2013, 01:14 PM.Comment
