Ha ha! I couldn't ask for a better setup to announcing my historic MyTeam Mobile NBA2k14 milestone:
I just reached the 70,000 draft pick mark without a single Legendary drafted! Seriously, can you throw me a bone, CatDaddy?
This milestone may sound exciting, but it was actually quite anti-climactic. Common card Evan Fournier gets the honors as my 70,000th draft pick. My game record is now 32,627 Wins and 4,746 Losses.
Can anyone beat that futility? I looked back on the thread to make sure that I am officially unluckier than Ryan (EyeGotSoul) who got his first legendary at around 65,000 picks. The only one who might have me beat is shawn711 (KINGwsi)...do you have your first drafted legendary, bro? This is serious bragging rights on the line here for #1 unluckiest in the world, ya know.
The funny (and sad and weird) thing is that if I ever do draft a legendary this far into the game, it won't even crack my season LU because by now I have 10 better cards from 4 straight top 25 Rivals Clash rewards and a stacked Point Guard position of 4 solid Pro Epics (all 4 of my Epic dupes happen to be PGs, so I am currently coasting to a top 100 finish in this Rivals since I didn't feel it was worth chasing after the woeful Jason Kidd Legendary). I must say, it has been very nice to sit out the final 24 hours of this event in 57th place with 18,405 points.
Here's some advice to the newbies: Play the game if you find it fun (which I do), but don't play it if your plan is to collect legendary cards through the draft. You will get frustrated and give up. You can Buy them (at $20+ each) - or do like I did and don't spend a cent and patiently acquire them in Rivals Clash events.
