Which version of young do you run or 1 of each? That line-up could run into issues with Offense + BC/Mental given the high offense Young has lower BC/Mental (and same level as Doc). Also you aren't running the best mental card as A. Johnson is actually better in mental (i run a similar line-up but replace 1 young with another player, no sanders 'cause i don't have him... been trying to get him this week but haven't had any luck and Doc Rivers with A. Johnson who has 300 mental)

Think i ended up losing about 50 games in ~4500... mostly +5 but on the first day i was doing +1/+3 before trying +5... figure winning (close to) 100% +3 was better than losing +5 but +5 ended up easier than i thought (first real RC so didn't really know what to expect... i started at the very end of Pacer/Knicks so i only experimented a little bit)... as long as you win > 66% of +5 games, it ends up being better than +3.

I have both Thad Youngs, one of each. I know Avery is better but MG by itself doesn't come up much, usual BC-MG or Def-MG and a +15 all stats team support puts me over Avery. And as I am facing 4 x rare pros 1 legend, and most Rares don't even come close to Thads offense ( offense is seriously gimped in this game compared to MG/BC ) it balances out . With a combined 500 in a 2 stat category you will win over most Rare Pros.
And with my Hot Streak + 15, against any Rare Pro
Larry Sanders wins all DEF and DEF/MG
Jason Kidd wins BC/MG 2nd any MG or BC combo
Doc Rivers wins most BC/MG, 2nd DEF/MG
Thad Mid year wins OFF most OFF/MG
Thad original second OFF or OFF/MG

That's a bummer man. I've been considering deleting some epics I don't think I'd use as epic pros, but catdaddy has noted that season matchmaking should be fixed with the next update. I'm sure as soon as I delete some epics I'll draw what would have been their dupe with my next draft pick. With pro Dirk, pro mid-season Tyreke Evans, and legendary Kemp almost any epic pro would improve my overall lineup. Blech, hope the update is soon. But hey, best of luck with your team pack at the end of the season!

I've tanked 6 times and the best ive gotten is an uncommon pro and I never have any sort of chance competing in the playoffs

I'm getting annoyed lol. I've gone through 15+ draft boards and have gotten nothing but energies, not even a rare! I should have expected this after that week of getting 5 Epics and 4 Legends I think I'm in for a loooooong drought haha
