Gave up on this event last night. I really wanted to make a go for top-50 this event because PG/SF are my weakest LU but even with $60 worth of hotstreaks the amount of time required to get top-50, especially when you can't win every game, I just can't get myself to grind this game any more. One epic this event, and it was a card I already duped and a second one wouldn't make my LU. No epics last event with just over 12000pts. It's just not fun any more when you're competing against 50-100 other players that have more time/money to spend.

Maybe having a rivalry event with a tiered reward system (like 1000pts-5000pts-10000pts etc) would be a better idea then trying to guess how much time others are going to put in to this nonsense. 6 days, 10+hrs every day and a few hundred dollars to get a rivalry/legend+/support is just ridiculous.

This will be the first rivalry event that I'll get the rival card though. Maybe Durant will help my winning% for the next event.

And if anyones curious I'm sitting at about 19000pts ranked 63, and I am burnt the f*ck out

This was already brought up to CD and they said they will not shorten the duration of the event.

Well, they also said they would increase the card limit for this RC. They say for month now they will fix the fuxxed up matchmaking in season mode. They said they will fix the catalog bug etc etc etc
I say they can kiss my ***! All they want us to do is shut up and buy their overpriced BS. I learned my lesson from this game, the only thing CD and 2k can expect from me in the future are two middle fingers right in their faces. I wasted 30$ on a card collecting game with a broken catalog, no support, awful service, but great revenues for the BS providers.:banghead:

I'm questioning this more and more. Every other weekend has been shot to get top 50. And every time i ask myself why. Only conclusion I can come to is I'm disturbed.

I did top 50 on Spurs & Bulls event and that took a toll on my body mentally and physically. So I convinced myself to just stay at 125. Now I'm going to convince myself to slowly stop playing after this event.

It is indeed disturbing, it's like we're all being possessed lmao.
