MyTeam Mobile Discussion

I have done a little research and after looking over the new cards statsversus the current cards stats I am speechless and insulted. The term (qq)which I assume means crying is so immature to say. I enjoyed playing this gameand all it had to offer. Hell, I spent way too much at the same time. But myonly complaint is that the past Rivals rewards will not be updated, I couldcare less about all the money I spent to get Legendary cards. The Rivals was aton of hard work and dedication that will soon all be washed down the drain. Weall saw my Rivals Pro MJ and those beast numbers which we all expect being thebest player ever to play the game and now the new Malone Rivals will crush thatcard. That being said, I am officially announcing retirement from this game. Iwas looking forward to some competition but at this point you could have a deckthat took me months and months to acquire in less than an hour. Props to CatDaddy for being very smart at all their moves to make the most money possible.They are able to use my deck as an example for everyone to drop money likeI did to compete and now easily destroy my deck. I hope everyone enjoys thegame as much as I did but for now it is back to focusing on putting criminalsaway, especially enterprises and businesses. Maybe one day I will pull a Jordanand come back out of retirement. I fully expect the typical trolling andimmature comments to follow but it is the internet where people are big andbad. Stay classy and I will still be at the fan site and dropping in here fromtime to time. Good luck to everyone in tomorrow’s Rivals.

What you have to understand is that this is CD and they don't care about any customers, they don't care about you,
They don't care about any of us, they only care bout money, that's it. O yeah Twista, please don't retire, this is a game that took a ton of time and money, you can take a rest for a few weeks, but we all need you to be back

Have a Samsung Note 3 running Kitkat, app is running fine. Have gotten my VC draft and QG 500VC for the day with no issue.

Just in case, be aware that there are two downloads - an initial one where it looks like "critical assets" for running the game are downloaded (looks like that included things like the new Playoff cards and the new catalog) after which the app restarts, and a second download for the new pics. When the game starts up again you should see the new rewards.

The fact that you can now buy packs with guaranteed top tier cards without the gamble of an epic pack and instantly compete with Twistas deck.

Not really. It's essentially just like before. Thanks to the inflation created by introducing TWO new types of better cards (not to mention the inclusion of "Legends" who never made an All Star team, like Kendal Gill), Legends are clearly no longer all that great. Buying a Legend Pack now, is essentially the same as buying an Epic Pack yesterday. Nick Anderson Legend is not gonna help you compete with Twista.

Plus, guys like Twista are obviously gonna buy more of these packs than anyone else (which is why they were invented, to be certain), so it'll still be the same. Just, where a normal person may buy 2-3 packs, and may get Mark Agguire, Otis Thorpe, and if they're lucky, a Kemba Walker Playoff card (which probably couldn't crack Twista's lineup), he'll drop another $2k+ on this stuff, and get Playoff Pros.

This actually gives veterans a reason to keep playing. Again what's the point of playing if you already have the best part. Now everyone has a chance at having a good deck, not just the handfull of players. Its actually a fair game now. NWGamedad has my support.

That's one way to look at it. Another, more cynical (and more accurate, if you ask me) way to look at it, is that top decks now, just had all of their time and money turned into dust. And the game was already fair. Some players just grinded, and paid more than others. The same will continue to be true. Just.. All the work up to this point, has been rendered worth much less.

The android part of it isn't working. Give them some time to fix it. Unless you have a iphone or ipad its not up yet

Game works for me. 2013 Nexus 7 and LG G2.

This update is great only for new player and those who always go for top 2000 in rivals event. Not a good update for veterans players. I played for months and I never draft a legendary card always have to win in rival event or win a rival card. I spent a lot of time on this game to see this update. Ma che schifo di gioco

It was inevitable. They essentially devalued ALL of the cards that those of us have been playing from the start have now. Adding the Playoff tier essentially makes everything one rarity lower now (ie, legendary is now epic, epic is now rare, rare is now uncommon). I'm assuming new players were complaining that they're so far behind that they'll never have a chance against the people with legendary pros and RCs. This gives everyone a reset.

Well played CD. Churn the old players (a lot of whom will leave the game, and I'm sure that was planned) and get a lot of new ones.

Not true for the top 2000 people - all our epic pros are now pretty much rare pros under the new rarity system. You'll be able to draft epics off the board like candy now.

This will also make our 3-2 RC lineups useless very soon.

Twista, I understand your frustration. But its not just you and a couple others playing this game. Its not fair that the only way to get a good deck is to play 15+ hours a day. Some people camt play that much. So now its possible to get good cards through seasons and draft boards. The way it was you had 10 or less satitfied players and thousands of unsatisfied players. But like I said I understand your frustration. NWGD is looking at the big picture. There's too bog of a following on this game for it to be a monopoly.

Twista, I understand your frustration. But its not just you and a couple others playing this game. Its not fair that the only way to get a good deck is to play 15+ hours a day. Some people camt play that much. So now its possible to get good cards through seasons and draft boards. The way it was you had 10 or less satitfied players and thousands of unsatisfied players. But like I said I understand your frustration. NWGD is looking at the big picture. There's too bog of a following on this game for it to be a monopoly.

They could have kept the same cards and updated the drop rate if they thought their customers didn't have a chance. They are trying to make it look like it was an attempt at improving, when all they really did was alienate a lot of people that worked hard over the past two months or so

This is just a way to get more money out of people to retain what they already worked/spent for.

You're kidding yourself if you think this is some permanent reset.

Like I advised, if they would simply update the past Rivals cards I would be game. That is not asking for much.
