What?

Can free players no longer play RC?
Are the NEW RC cards not the most powerful ?
Do you not get matched against a similar deck in 5pt games anyway, so even if you have uncommons you wont be facing the new legendary playoff cards?
Can I not buy a gaurenteed Legendary now for the same price as the old 1 in 6 gamble?
Do I not now have a better chance of drafting a Legendary/Epic in QG's?

The only thing this will effect will be seasons and more 5000+ decks, which should make more trucks who can be put in a season together. So the only thing that is a problem is season matchmaking. They fix that and then it doesnt matter your deck strength you will be matched with others in the same tier.

Ok, last try, then i'm done - did you not understand that tour deck has been pushed 2 tiers back? So if you do, and you don't value your time/money invested so far - thats great. Good luck

Trust me i believe you... last week i went from 2500 to now 3000-3500 all because of RC. Legendary RW + RC KD without any epic luck (i pulled 7 epics during RC, 2 of them were support, 2 of them were players i had BUT NOT THE SAME CARD >.>, and rest were single thats 7 epics in 7000 wins so i was somewhat lucky with draws but not far above average). So yeah its easily possible and so far i won 3 seasons, finished second in other 3, and got to the second round in my last 2.

You'll gain on those that play less than you and don't spend money but you won't gain any ground on spenders... instead the gap will only increase.

I'm not worried about the spenders. The game is fun for me just upgrading my deck. And thisupdate makes it much more possible for me to do that. The new season rewards alone are great for me because I don't have to win the season or hope for great luck tanking in the first round. You have to admit that rewarding the winner of a 4 day long season with an epic was just stupid. Anyways I'm gonna watch a movie then pass out so my time on this board is done for tonight. Believe it or not I enjoyed debating (argueing?) With you and hope you didn't get the wrong impression that I was trying to nash anyone. Just trying to share my perspective. So have a good night.

You're STILL being rewarded with an Epic. That's what you're missing. By creating two new classes of cards, today's Legend is yesterday's Epic (especially with Legendary Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf on the open marker now...).

And it's gonna be just as hard, if not harder to win/place in seasons. So you won't even be getting that Legend.

That's what people are trying to get you to understand. Believe me. Nobody is offended by your tone. It's the way you refuse to see the obvious, that's frustrating.

You are basing this deck improvement apon improved matchmaking. if many of the posts I've seen since the update are any indication, your screwed.

I don't mind the debate but like ActionJack said, you don't seem to understand or at least look at the relativity of the patch. Its advertised to make it easier to get cards and that is correct, its easier to get cards that were released BEFORE this patch. But the cards before this patch are now all 1 tier lower than before because there is a new tier at the very top.

RC rewards (relatively speaking again) is actually worst because at most you can only get 1 top tier card (before you can get 2). Yes you can get a legendary @ a lower rank now, same with legendary Pro but again they are no longer top tier cards, they are 2nd tier cards. Sure its much easier to get an Epic now but Epic tier is basically the same as Rare tier before the patch (because everything moves down 1 tier)... is it easier to get an epic now as it was getting a rare before the patch?

I see an increased chance to upgrade my deck whether there's 2 or 3 tiers better. I'm not trying to get the best deck just trying to increase the deck I have. Outside of RC it was nearly impossible to get epic pros or legends.

Nah, Im happy with the update. I never win seasons anyways and i never went for rc's cause i always believed that they were not the best value tiers when you consider effort vs reward. Im happy that we get a new class of playoff tier which by the way looks great. I feel so bad about the spenders though. I can understand your frustrations but for someone like me with a relatively mediocre to good deck, im excited

If they are based on the playoffs... a lot of cards should become commons. Sorry but D. Will was pretty bad vs. the Raptors lol. Pierce was benched quite a bit. Howard had his moments but also wasn't the best defender by any means.

You will increase your Deck, but everyone else will too. Most people wont have Playoff Cards, Legendaries will still have value, but still, epics will lose value fast.

Yes his deck will improve, if he wins a certain round of the playoffs. It should be easier than it was but still not guaranteed.
No his deck will not improve, relatively speaking, because of this update. His deck has actually been devalued.
Simple as that. Lol

why is EVERYONE claiming that it is now IMPOSSIBLE to win seasons? i mean someone has to win eash season. i find it kinda of odd that some people on this forum try and speak for all players when they say you can no longer win season mode. i have a sub 2000 deck and im pretty sure it won't be that hard to win a season mode and get a legendary. Yes it will be harder to win a season mode in the very top tier seasons with players like twista, but for us lower end players everyone has a shot at that legendary.
