I just started playing again after a hiatus from the game....are they serious with these new "legendary" players I'm seeing in the catalog??

This has to some sort of joke right? For a game that relies on the crutches of an NBA license to slap on arbitrary numbers/stats to a player's image, it's as if they're insulting our intelligence with this new collection of journeymen/semi-stars being labeled as "legends." What angle were they shooting for here? Seems like they went old school on us to try to mask how ridiculous these cards are with the hopes of obscurity. CD probably alienated a ton of knowledgeable fans with this update, but then again, who cares when the game is in its final phase of its shelf life right?

Just because I pull a card with gold borders won't sit well for me if I see that the name attached to it is Kendall f'n Gill (among others). I mean c'mon now......before the update, we all came to grips with the fact that the rating system in this game was wacky....but why torpedo that even further with this new crop of cards? The ENTIRE element of the game is ruined... might as well attach fictitious players not in the NBA then with random numbers.

hmmm already drafted 8 epics one was a dupe and still got to Sunday. Anyways you guys think if i stop at 10,000 ill be alright for the drexler pro i just want to stay under 650 or should i put up some more. Im at 32 right now so i plan on dropping alot lol

I'm glad they added more Legs. Yeah guys like Kendall Gill don't deserve it. But there are a few players that do. I mean why wasn't Brad Daugherty in the game before. As a cavs fan I'm glad they added him and gave the cavs a leg. He's probably one of the most derserving new legs. But yeah they gave some scrubs a legendary status, which they don't derserve.

So instead of the increased rates helping everyone to a point where they all have like 3 or 4 epics by now, it's really helping a handful of people get tons of epics. My friends has gotten 8 with a thousand less points than me and I've gotten 1

No chance place 651 will make 10k, but who knows maybe there will be another crazy Sunday for that Drexler cards. Worst case 10k will be enough for that Walton card. lol

Its pointless to try and get better cards, everytime I get another legend I do worse and worse in season modes. Fu*k that this game is pathetic. I cant even make the playoffs now with 3k plus categories but was a finals team with 2k points. Stupidass game whoever spends money on this **** is whakkk

But according to em they increased the drop rates, wat I'm saying is if they go do that make it equal, new ppl drafting legends and I can't even get epic as a long time member

New cards is generally a good thing....but I can't help but think they went scraping at the bottom of the barrel of players left in their licensed pool (since guys like Barkley, Reggie, C-Webb, etc clearly aren't part of this) just for the sake of creating new content with better stats for players to strive to obtain. My issue is, this game loses it's aura when the NBA license isn't used effectively and the whole thing just becomes a RANDOM collection of numbers being driven by a very basic engine in gameplay. A lot of appeal is lost when seeing Karl Malone's numbers beat out Jordan's Rivals card for instance. None of us would even be playing this minimally interactive game if it wasn't real NBA players involved.

I think your first projection is more realistic. I doubt that they will go over 999 in single stats for the RC Pro card.
