Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Also, what's the point of deleting your top 15 cards to win a season? You're making your team worse to get legends to make your team better that you'll eventually delete again to do the same thingComment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
In season I was down 79-74 in the 4th quarter and the game ended and I ended up winning 125-102. How is that even possible? I mean... I'm not complaining... but still.NBA 2K14 MyTeam Mobile lineup:
PG: Oscar Robertson
SG: Manu Ginobili
SF: Pro Kawhi Leonard
PF: Rudy LaRusso
C: Pro Dwight Howard
NBA 2K15 MyTeam Mobile lineup:
PG: Legacy Tony Parker
SG: Legacy Danny Green
SF: DeMarre Carroll
PF: Greg Anthony (out of position)
C: Legacy Boris DiawComment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I think cd should give us an leg or even a playoff card for every one thousandth win or they can just increase the drop rate for an legendary card another thing cd can do is to fix the matchmaking for the season bc I'm in a season with a guy with 6.5 in each catagorey if they are able to do these things then that would make the game much betterIn game name : YooruceWillis
Team : Lakers
MVP : LeBron JamesComment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
It is an obvious short term business model that will only appeal to a small core group of people. The game as it is currently structured could never hold the attention of a mass audience for a long period of time because the pay wall is hit very quickly, and most people don't have time to grind heavily in the RCs'. Because of the way the game is structured I am almost certain that it will not be supported in the long term. It was designed for a short term gain, and I suspect that CD has done very well with this. Nevertheless, the success of this app is not sustainable in the long term unless the gameplay is adjusted to support a way for the casual player to also achieve success because we all know that seasons and draft boards are not a viable way to enhance your LU. It is really a shame because CD could do so much much more with the 2k NBA license, and produce a long term more sustainable business model than just a quick cash grab.
If CD used your idea or something like it I think it would open it the game up to a wider audience. The wider audience would bring a greater profit margin because even casual players would be likely to spend at least $10 to $20 purchasing cards or whatever, and many hardcore players would still spend $100s or $1,000s in the RCs just for the the sake of competition.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Sorry for the double post, but I am unable to edit my post. My previous post was supposed to be in response to you requesting everybody's thoughts on your idea to enhance the game. Oh and on a side note, I don't understand deleting your best cards just to win seasons and starting over again either. It makes little sense.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
To add to your point you never really win even if you reach 7k because at that point winning the season does not mean anything. The prize is only a legendary card, and the LU of somebody with 7k stats is mostly littered with playoff pros. Any player with 7k or 8k stats is just playing the role of season spoiler since the reward will not enhance their deck.
Your right , why guys wit 7k try to 82-0 and win season is pointless , I have a legend pro mutumbo , epic pro shumpert, epic pro reed , epic pro Duncan and none make my season lineup , and I'm only 4500, winning seasons at 7k gives you a legend card to train with

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I actually love your idea. It would enhance the game dramatically. However, as you already stated, it is unlikely that CD would add a game mode like this. After spending too much time with this app it has become painfully obvious that their business model is to only make the game accessible to a hardcore and or paying player. It is not made to be accessible to non-paying casual play at your own pace player.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Wow thanks for the input! I'm glad you like the idea! Do you think it would be possible to suggest such an idea to CD so that he could actually produce a similar app that withstand a wider audience? Because I love the way this game has been set up and if it were to continue as it's own app and continue to grow and appeal to a wider audience it would be very successfulComment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Also, what other way can you think of to get 3 legendary players (Duncan, Morning, TBD assuming i win, in the playoffs now with a 3000 rating team and no other team > 2000) without buying packs. You'll need insane amount of luck to draft 3 legendary and likely 30000+ games (my main account has 40000 wins and only drafted 2 legendary total... both came between 30-40k wins). Also if you just want to win season for the sake of winning, its the most realistic way of winning without spending $1000s or having extremely good luck (i.e. avoid all the spenders/vets/trucks/etc).
As far as your idea goes, its a great idea that is commonly done in games but unless there is some credit involvement in your idea, it'll never happen. Remember end-game for CD is always $$$ and if a new mode doesn't generate revenue for them, what's the point of adding it (to them). It might generate interest but it'll generate NEGATIVE interest in their books because instead of playing modes that make them money, you will be playing a free mode. Basically goes against the pay to win model that this app follows.
A twist to your idea could be something like spend credit to continue (option) each time you lose and the amount of credit increases as the number of games played increases... it could out pretty well if at the end (say 100 wins), you get a RC 3.0 Jordan card or something but make the games from 90 - 100 much harder than +5 games so the odds of a non-spender getting there is virtually 0 and even spenders will need to spend $100s just to get to the end or at least past a point where you get rewards you want/much better than other modes.
Remember one of the reasons RC higher tier has scores so high is the cards can only be obtained via RC. The support cards also can't be obtained from packs (which is why i was hoping the Hawks would win and probably would have bought credit and bought HS if needed to get into the top 10 if Hawks were winning).Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Actually that isn't what you do... if you read my post, you'll notice i kept the legendary each time while deleting the supporting players. The legendary players in theory is much better for my team than an easy to replace Rare Pro that i deleted (and for my 3rd season the Epic Pro Luo Deng, who is one of the worst epic pros). Of course after my 3rd season on my 2nd account, i'm not repeating the process (only way to do it again is to delete RC Shaq and that makes no sense). Of course i did this with a brand new account not my existing account so i really had nothing to lose.
