Drafted my first legendary during Physics class - Dwayne Wade. Never been so happy to see a Miami Heat player. I got one epic, one legendary, and one rare in an hour. I guess maybe they rewarded the people that didn't hoard?

I got this after 2589 wins and 653 losses in quick game along with an epic Al Horford and a rare Ray Allen.

In about 200 picks I got what seems like more energy cards than usual, 1 Rare, and 1 Epic (Danny Manning). Definitely content with that as a prize for being a stress tester.

I'm sorry some of you are so angry. The facts are that I am not lying about the increase in drop rate. As you can tell from several people here they are getting many more epics right now than previously. Random number generator is...random. Some are lucky, some are not. There isn't some grand conspiracy here.


I was also very upfront that this was a stress test of the servers. We expected a lag spike, but despite our automated testing, we're never 100% what it will look like in the real world, hence why we did this today. With the upcoming Rivals Clash mode, players are likely to be playing concurrently so we wanted to get the balance right on our servers now before the new mode launches. You may not appreciate the lag during this 2 hour even now, but it will help us shortly. Right now we think we have the servers in order so you should see much less "Waiting for Network" than you were seeing 90 minutes ago. If you still have it, please let us know.


As for the negativity from some, I understand the frustration. All I ask is that you keep it civil. There is no need for name calling, threats, etc. If you would rather have me not participate in the thread, I can do that and I will simply lurk. I care a lot about this game and want you all to enjoy, which is why I post here.

I'll comment more later. I got a 5 rares, 1 epic (faried), and about 35 energies so far. I think the biggest issue that would have made people feel a lot better is you should have upped the rare to energy ratio (something like 1:1, which if you were truthful before would up the rate of epics by virtue of having more rares), and not just a boost in epic rate. The feeling of seeing so many energies I think is probably the most depressing for most people.

I went through about 300 picks. Got a BUNCH of energies, 1 rare, and 1 epic (Mike Conley...sadly don't have a second to make Pro). At least I didn't have the network problems everyone else has been having. My game has been running pretty smoothly.

Also, it's been about 3-4 weeks since I had gotten an Epic, so I'm not sure if this epic is because of the "drastically" improved rates, or I was just due for one. Regardless, playing this game again after not playing for about a week has opened my eyes as to what a waste of time this is. I haven't had a remote chance of winning a season in about a month. I'm behind every season by at least 600 points in each stat. Even a Legendary won't help at this point.

Final Score: 13951-3116 quick game record, over 31k draft picks, 7 epics drafted, 1 legendary support drafted, 0 legendary players. Since it seems NW is monitoring this thread for network problems, I hope he sees these stats and can at least leave a comment if these are normal numbers or not.

Edit: It seems NWGameDad responded while I was writing my comment. I guess I'm just one of the ones who are not lucky. It still bothers me that I've been so consistently unlucky. 31,000 draft picks is a pretty big sample size and I've just stayed on the "unlucky" side of the RNG.
