I'm not saying it not impressive. You have to put in time to score that high as well, if it wasnt for the hotstreaks and you cut those scores in half most of them would still be top ten or top 25 scores. It's just that it seems there's a lot of arrogance that comes with it. Not you but some of the other elites. I take just as much pride in having a good team and not spending money as you do spending it and being competitive. Everyone has the same goal, I think the misunderstanding is how that goal is being achieved.

That goes both ways though, there are people here who keep bragging that they haven't spent any money on this game. We get it it's hard to do but it's also pretty sad how much time free players need to invest in the game to become a truck. For the record I'm a free player and am guilty of grinding for multiple hours for 5-6 days straight during the rc. Basically what I'm saying is that bragging about not spending a dime is both a good/bad thing but its pretty dumb that people keep mentioning it every chance they get

I guess I don't really look at it like that because during the weekdays I'm playing while at work, something that most people can't do. I guess your right because it really doesn't feel like I'm playing that much because I'm always multitasking.

All this arguing over spending vs. non-spending.. I personally think it's better to have a great team without spending, and I've built one. But if another guy got to the same area as me while spending 200$+, that's cool. Money isn't the issue, just the fun of the actual game. If I had paid for my lineup, I probably wouldn't be playing as much. Just saying.. Good job Jeff, and every other free player out there

Just remember, guys, time is money. Let me give you an example of two different people...

Person #1 - Spends an hour-a-day grinding for each RC, earns one legendary card.
Person #2 - Spends an hour-a-day doing odd jobs, uses the money to buy several legendary/playoff packs.

Now consider the fact that many gamers look down on Person #2 for being a "spender". Doesn't make much sense, does it?

The end goal on this game is always misunderstood for some reason and idk why. But another thing that is misunderstood is competitive to who's standards. How are we rating it, and what determines that. Are we only going from RC placement or who can dominate a season? Because they both take two different approaches to be competitive

The end game for me is a lineup full of rc cards. I can't get much better than that. I think you right. During the rc I see the best person as being number 1. During the off week i see the best person as having the best lineup which I would think would be the same person. It is rather confusing. Everyone wants to be the best. But that's not going to happen without spending money which is sad to a certain extent but that's the way the gaming industry is heading. So what happens to the people who don't want to spend money? They can only rely on the false hope of being the best.

Everyone has to remember, this is a card building game. CD provided 2 options "grind" "buy". No winners or losers here. Just depends on how you want to build your deck. People who dont spend money is great! People who do is great for the developers.

..to be fair micro transactions arent wholly needed to keep a gaming community afloat. Also, with ppl spending as much as they do you would think the experience would be more fluid

Since we are playing "fair" I pose a question. do you think that it is fair to bash those who support a game that we all enjoy with their personal financial resources? Despite the fact the game could be a more fluid experience?
