Felton (the worst starting point guard) is out and we have Calderon who is a really solid shooter.

New coach who will run with Phil Jackson's Championship offense.

We still have Melo (not an improvement but still)

Cleanthony Early will be a solid backup to Melo.

Jeremy Tyler is a pretty decent player but he needs to cut out the fouls.

I don't expect Smith to have the atrocious season he had...... Hopefully.

Other reasons too but I forget. We are not going to run the East but I do think we will be at least 4th

I feel like we could get some good pieces from the Raptors. Kyle Lowry, Greivis Vasquez, Jonas Valanciunas, and a protected pick.

As a Thunder fan I'd take it and run.

OKC is my second favourite team, but no way in hell...Lowry is the best player on the Raptors, Vasquez is a good backup PG and Jonas is a C with good potential, I'm not willing to trade that for a ball-dominating, scoring PG. I remember there were rumours about a Westbrook for Rondo trade, Rondo would have been a great PG for OKC to have.

None of these are really that great reasons.. 4th seed? I lol'd..

You guys are banking on Zen Master Phil to save you guys? It'll be another disappointing season, under .500 missing the playoffs again.

Tyler got traded with Ellington for Outlaw and Acy....shouldn't Knicks fan know this....

I expect the Knicks to improve from last year, but not much....

Phil's plan is long term anyway, Knicks probably make it with 7th or 8th.

How so? Lowry is a good PG but PG is the deepest position in the league so basically outside of maybe top 5, the 6th-25th best PGs are roughly the same value. GV is a good backup, not starter (again too many PGs). Thunder have a big in Adams who is doing fine and Ibaka. 1st rounders don't mean much outside of top 5. RW is a top 5-10 player in the league. You don't find them very often.

If thunder got lowry it would be nasty. Because we would differ more to KD. KD numbers would be sick. And lowry also tough. He big and strong and got range. Thunder definitely would be getting robbed lol

Just another quick 'Get rid of Westbrook" trade idea:

Kings get- Westbrook, Perkins (please), 1st round pick

Thunder get- Cousins, Williams/Landry, Nik Stauskas

I think the salaries match up, if not, I tried. I think Cousins could mature with us, prove he can be an elite center, Williams is a great all-around player or Landry could help in rebounding/post game, and Stauskas can come in off the bench this year and be a spark plug, and in the future start.
