Google it Greg Doyel. NBA licensing covers most players. Certain historical players had their own deals.

Here's an excerpt from a Time article.
"In this case, Keller and other student-athletes were included in EA’s NCAA Football, Basketball and March Madness video game series. The players claimed the NCAA and EA conspired to permit the use of NCAA players for their own monetary gain without compensating the players. In contrast, EA paid professional NFL players almost $35 million each year for the use of names and likenesses in NFL games."
In summary, you are crazy if you think they aren't getting paid for the use of their likenesses.Comment

We didn't go for melo. I went with the nets. The Knicks just happened to win and I just happened to be in the top 50. Every team I pick loses. Most of the top players pick for need. We just had 2 sf before melo. Why would anyone need another one? Because he's a popular player that's why.Comment
