Nice.

I still have SR supports - one being Substitution (+5 DEF/REB Team) and the other being Coach (+8 OFF/PM) though the Substitution one is really the only one that gets used.

I'm still playing games in the UR+ tier as I have a lineup that doesn't lose those games for me. Trying to level the higher tier cards I got to full before venturing up (I did win some games in the UR++ tier, but it was only at like a 50-60% rate so I dropped down until I can level the rest of my cards.)

Seriously you are supposed to win, therefore all the available opponents are weaker. The moment one of your opponents had a better deck than yourself he will be no longer available on your QGs list!



This is an older screenshot of the guys I played for the last 500 games. I am not on their list as long as my team is better than theirs, when they level up above my level. I will become available as their opponent and they will vanish from my list, simple as that!

Everyone levels his cards, so sometimes you are better sometimes the other guy is better. The better one has always the weaker one on his list.

This year only your best 4 cards count when it comes to matchmaking. I am thinking they made this to weaken the glorious 3/2 lineup a bit. So there is the opportunity that your Top 4 cards are better than your opponents Top 4 cards, so he is on your list but maybe your 5th card is way weaker than his 5th card, so he has a better team. Of course a good 3/2 lineup still gives you better win chances, but not as good as in the old app. 4/1 lineups are completely useless now and it is very wise to get a strong 5th card which is on the same level as the other cards!

One question: why is it 0/20 at energy cards but you can still collect just 10 energy cards?

Yes, but at NBA2k24 it was 0/10 and you also could pull energy cards. I once had 453/10 😉 I first thought you will get 1 card for each win until you have 20 in Quick Game mode, but you get energy cards for the first 10 wins and then you get just 2 pulls but no energy cards (you can still pull them with luck...)
