What do you guys do with rare players that you have no use for? Do you keep them or use them to train players faster? I got some players which probably won't become better the my first 10 players. But I don't know if I just want to use them for training after all the hard work of getting them.

I finally broke down and started training a bunch of my lower end rares. It was just getting too crowded. Also, knowing games like these, it won't be that long before we're all epic'd up and start thinking of those rares (even pro) as junk anyway.

I'm not even sure if I can use all my epics, Cousins for example is only my number 3 center behind Varejao and Okafor and the odds to get another Cousins for his pro version seem pretty low. The worst part is, that 3 of my 5 epics are PF's (Aldridge, Ibaka and Faried).

I would definitely hold on to all epic+. I have to hope that they'll eventually add trading. At which point you'll be able to pro your epics and trade the others.

Do you know if after 200 energy in stock we still get energy cards on board?

Yes, you continue to get energy cards after 200 in stock.

Finally my first epic during the draft.

Awesome, man. Congrats! I'm not a big Kobe fan, but that's pretty cool.

I really have no incentive to go on and grind for draft picks that won't get me anything

I don't find it nearly as entertaining as I did in the beginning when rares were still meaningful. But I find it a nice passtime for meetings, phone calls, some tv shows, etc. There's still that chance that an epic or legendary could pop up.

the ONLY thing i need from quick games is a copy of gallo, elliot, or kukoc and ofc epics/legendaries.

i really only do quick games to get my 10 free energy cards and ill sometimes play it while i watch a real game...kind of tedious now to get the same things over and over with no use....every rare/epic i have is maxed out atm so extra cards do me no good

what are good rating numbers to join seasons cuz i see people with like 2100s i am not that high so i dont think i will win a season untill i get some more pro cards but what numbers should i be aiming for to be able to contend?

I usually get to third round or semi finals but there is always that guy who has sexy *** numbers that beats me out.

1800+ on all 4 will win you some finals.


besides, even if u dont even win a game in the playoffs but make it, you get free rare(s).

I think your opponents are just luck of the draw. In my last tournament, noone had over 1900 ratings. In the current one, there are several people with 2100+. As for target ratings...I'd just keep joining tournaments, keep improving your team, and hope for good draws.

I don't mind it during the season so much. But the way the playoffs are currently set up, you're all but guranteed some overnight games. You're left with dropping $10 or jacking up your sleep schedule. All that for some rares and maybe an epic. It's pretty ridiculous, and the first time I lose a playoff series because I'm asleep (through no fault of my own scheduling), I'll be done with the game.

I actually think the energy thing is very much needed and won't ever be changed. First reason being that they're a business, and if people didn't have to re-energize their lineup then how often would people actually log into the app? They'd probably sign up for a season, and randomly do some exhibition games and then eventually see how their season turned out. The way its set up right now, people check their teams often and manage it accordingly, which ultimately I think is a good thing for the game. And in result, I don't think they'll change their current system.

The other reason being that I like the idea of winning a series based on actually managing the lineup, or else the people with the most luck/money and best cards would ALWAYS win. I have over 2100+ in all categories but it shouldn't be easy to always win just by having the best cards; it should require actually having to keep up with your team, so I completely understand when a team with way worse cards beats me because I didn't manage my team.

Only change I'd wish for is being able to trade 50 or 100 energy cards for 1 season manager or something, because truthfully from the seasons I've been in, almost NOBODY is dishing out 10+ dollars just for 4 days worth of a season, way too expensive for such a short period of time.

it needs to be set so it automatically uses your energy cards if you have them..FOR FREE...if i have 40 energy cards stored up, i should be set for 8 games.

i WILL be pulling an all nighter because my playoffs start at 6pm...and ill be dammed if i lose this one...easy epic sitting there for me to snatch if i stay energized

I have been starting my seasons at 7pm eastern and it ends up starting my season at 7 am i am starting third round now so if i dont get kicked out my season will end like midnight.had a few game 6 and 7s in my season from mid ranked playoff people.
