The Rodman won't really matter too much if he's in or out since its only 1Q. What he needs is 2 of those epic/legendary to be out (doesn't matter which), then he has a fighting chance. Its all luck base... if he boosts too, it'll increase his chances.

Its all random, i took some screenshots of my recent season to provide some proof of it being random.

Basically everyone in the same tier seem to be pooled together (regardless of where the bar is at). So the match-up you get really depends on the luck of the draw. If you want to win a season, your best chance likely is when you're closest to the end of the bar (not always the case since some teams drop a tier with a bad bench... although from a progression standpoint it makes no sense considering playoff higher tier = 2nd place lower tier, 1 round win = similar to a win since you get the higher tier card, any higher placement in a season and you'll breakeven/be ahead).

this is what i dont understand as to why some people opt to go down a tier in seasons. in RC, i can understand the logic and strategy behind it but in seasons? you'll gain more if you go with your best possible lineup as opposed to go for a common bench.

from my experience it's completely random but maybe for some it works, so~ they're just lucky i guess.

Nope, haven't had much time... I'll probably take care of it later.

Anyways set of screenshots to try and help disprove the theory of a useless bench. A few notes first... the team i faced in the Semi was likely the 3rd best team in the league (arguable since his team is similar to the 3rd seed and their records were similar too but Dragon used boosts in the games against me so i figure he probably used boosts in key games to make the difference). The 2nd seed had a much better team and was the only team to beat me (but i went 7 - 1 vs him, his win was lucky in that all my cards were more or less played in horrible situations... as bad as possible almost and favors UR Pro was never played in that game despite Off being in the last 2Qs for me, i explained it in another post if anyone wants details on that... was a rant since it was my only regular season lost in the last 3 seasons lol)

Randomly posted screenshot of games vs. both teams (both from playoff), difference in terms of what they had. The average team in the league was much closer to the 4 seed... i.e. mostly SR Pro with maybe 1 or 2 epic/UR Pro. Some had single UR in place of SR Pros.

Nope, its not more news rather the banner goes away until (likely) friday. If you don't claim your reward in the next 45 minutes, you won't get them at all.

Edit looks like my last post ended the page, might want to go back (last post of previous page) and look at my other post if you want to see an example of the tier bar NOT mattering.

I may be in a season where I can the finals. I lost to the best team by 1 point and the other 2 losses were because my team was half energised and my best 5 cards on the bench and 3 of them untrained yet! Does anyone know how the seeds work? Like who plays who? I might try and knock him off before the finals

Looks like super card got an update including drop rate changes. I wonder if nba will be seeing it soon too. Although game dad said next update would be ah so that might delay the drop rate changes. Darn. Would like that soon!!

Well last year it took a while before a new tier was added. That was also when drop rate changed. It makes no sense to do one this early this year... more so considering the new tier patch last year made multiple big spenders quit (including Twista who won all the RC before he quit, likely spending $300+ per).

I FINALLY won my first season (Epic tier) on this app!..started my season 2days b4 RC was over cuz I knew that experienced players wouldve learned their lesson about having a season going while RC grinding (so I didnt have much competition). I only lost 1 game in the season n it was by 2 points..the rest was a cake walk

I'll let u know which Legend & Epic card that I get in the next 10 minutes when I get them!

Well last year it took a while before a new tier was added. That was also when drop rate changed. It makes no sense to do one this early this year... more so considering the new tier patch last year made multiple big spenders quit (including Twista who won all the RC before he quit, likely spending $300+ per).

The new tier on WWE was added only because most of the people if not all felt like the game had come to an end. Most of the players have an all Legendary Pro Deck and a lot of them have a bench filled with Legendary Pros as well.
That's mainly because King of the Ring (WWE version for Season) Rewards were very very generous. 1st and 2nd place both got Pairs of Legendary Superstar. (Which is now fixed in the latest update, No more pairs).
I have 20+ Legendary Pros and that's after i have feeded atleast 10-15 of the weaker legendary pros to train my best cards and i am still no where close to being among the top 25 players in Supercards.
While NBA is a much more sensibly built game and it's gonna be a while before you see people with 15 Legendary Pros in Season mode, so i won't be surprised if a new tier is not added for months in this game.

Congrats... either queue for season right away when you can or don't queue for a while (i can post when if you want). I'm in the middle of an Epic queue right now (first epic season). RC Bird finally helped me cross the threshold after being stuck in UR FOREVER.

That was the reason given for playoff tier last year but realistically it was added because my guess is players stopped buying packs. The rewards last year was capped @ epic before the patch so besides those buying packs, i doubt anyone who didn't buy packs had anything close to full legeldary pro line-ups.
