Then again is it whichever team wins? And then that top 20 get the prize or is it you gotta be top 20, and then you no matter what either get the Kobe or Larry depending on whom wins? Someone clarify here

The team that wins is the one that will have their rival card chosen. (lakers win, kobe is card given out and other way around) That being said, only the top 20 COMBINED (from both not each team) will get the card of the team that one.
If im wrong someone correct me, but i think thats how it works

Aw i feel bad for ur friend and even worse to potentially have a heat fan (probably bandwagoner) snap my streak. Have slightly higher stats than him but not sure if he shownhis best deck yet.

I don't understand the point of sandbagging in this game.

It's not like there's any skill or strategy involved. You throw your team out there, and hope they win. Might as well throw the best team. All sandbagging does is surprise people… but they would have lost anyway... and you don't even get to see them be surprised.

You just swap your good players in, then smile to yourself?

Yeah, Prime Jason Kidd being Rare is ridiculous. Epic, at least.

There are a bunch of silly placements though. Avery Bradley being Epic, while Bill Walton and Danny Ainge are Rare.. 98 Pippen is Epic, but 98 Rodman is Legendary.. Nate Robinson is Epic..

1972 Elgin Baylor even being in the game, when he retired in 1971, 8 games into the season....

Not s huge deal obviously.. Just weird.

I agree with you except one part. Nate Robinson....I think he's a epic he's doing pretty well this season (before he got injured of course). And his previous accomplishments make him an epic to me.

Hey guys, been a lurker and a fan of this forum for about a month now and wanted to chime in a bit.

The game is super cool, but I have a concern/question. Has there been any mention of an adjustment to centers an power forwards to balance the season play? I for one (as a person who watches/plays basketball) find it a bit absurd that I can sub in say, a pg in a centers spot and not receive some extensive penalty to compensate for that position difference. Try that in real life and you're likely to get blown out because of rebounding, lack of defense, and match up issues. Even in the 2k console game, I don't believe you're allowed to sub way out of position like that. Not complaining (as i am a big fan), I would just like for the game to be the best that it could be.

I know where your coming from. I don't ever put in centers in my season, because why do that when you can put a pg or sg in their spot and have a better chance at wining
