That is the statement that I'm confused about.

You could be right, but I tend to ere on the side of caution. As it is, 1000 games takes quite awhile. I don't want to reset my counter prematurely.

I think this is probably the confusing part of NWGameDad's post:

There is a maximum number of resets for each tier that will trigger you receiving the top tier card. For example (*not* real numbers), if I am in the UR tier and I was unlucky for 99 reset cards without receiving a UR, then on my 100th reset card I am guaranteed a UR.

As a thought exercise, if we assume UR is 99 resets, and UR+ is, say, 89 resets.

Now, assume you go exactly 88 resets in UR (no tier card), and then you train one in your lineup, and that pushes you into UR+ tier.

Does that mean now that you are *still* at 88 resets on the counter, and that you only have to play *2* games at UR+ to receive your reset card?

When i first read the info when they updated it i had the same questions that are being debated now. It really is not cut and dry and was not described well. I have like some of the other been cautious until I get my reset to switch tiers.

it is confusing. maybe it's how NWGameDad worded his update or whatever. also is the + and ++ tiers also included in this rule? edit: rather, what are the effects of the + tiers on the reset counters?

we're the same, i dont want to go down a tier unless it's the RC cause you'll never know when your reset card will come up next. it's hard to keep track of your reset pulls. better to be safe than sorry.

Why am I put with player like this?

I have 2 UR pro and 1 Epic ... That's it ... Those are all the best cards I have ...

The other player has 2 Legendary, 1 Epic pro, and many epics and UR pro ...

If this is as-design, then the design is broken! I hate the sub from last year, but I have absolutely no chance to win in this season.

It would be great if this can be explained logically ...

It is possible for you to be just barely in the UR tier with that lineup and him just barely in the tier, he may also be hiding really bad cards on his bench to fool the system to be in that tier.

Are cards played randomly in seasons? Or is there a way to play my best cards all the time?

it really is just random. :/ altho i've noticed that the AI uses the starters first then uses its bench, it won't use your starter again (in the next game) unless your bench is used.

for example: PG starter is used then after a quarter your 2nd string PG is used. for sure in the next game your starting PG will be used.

so what i do is keep track of my previous game. and if i really want all my strong players used, i mix my LU where i know what positions will be used next. so i put my strong cards as the reliever etc.

idk if this is a legit way or it's just my imagination so far, i think it's working. that's just me.

In alot of games some of my best cards don't even get played. Considering that there are 10 players in your team(not including bench) and only 8 of them play in game is it worth only energising the best 8 or is this game stupid enough to play the ones that aren't energised? just wondering if that's a viable tactic for seasons

Yeah happens to me too. Its random so no point only energizing 8 players. If you want you can test it out for one game or 2, energize 8 players and see what happens.
