Kclutch, you gonna try to keep that number 1 seed or are you planning on dropping to second or something for an easier playoff run? I think I'm pretty much locked into the 2nd place/3rd place bracket unless the bot above me loses a few games lol

Bean has 2 Epic Pro's and 4 Legendaries his lineup, I just lost to him earlier. Other than that, I don't think so. =)

My gf bought me a Google Play card. I used it to buy 2500 credits but i am not gonna use them to buy a pack. Chances are i 'll get an Epic, and i dont need any more Epics... So i 'll just keep them either for the next RC or to buy a Star Pack when (and if) they bring them on.

You know, when this new draft system came out, I think it was flipvan who cautioned temperament of expectations. He suggested that maybe the new drop system was not a response to lack of drops, but more to removing the chance that someone can have too good drops.

NWGD said in his devpost that the system now has a reset counter, and that every reset card has a chance of being a tier card.

What he did not say was whether or not the chance was lowered for that reset card to be a tier card.

Which is why we're seeing a lot of frustration post-patch. My theory is chances for each reset card to be a tier card have been weighted down, and then a counter acting as a "make up" system that rewards those willing to grind.

Could that be the case? Could CD have artificially limited the "batches" of tier cards we can pull (if you think about probablity, if I have a 1% chance to pull a tier card, it means every tier card is a 1% chance. Conceivably, I could go on a lucky streak, and pull 4 in a row. This is what I mean by artificially limit.), instead essentially adding it to a "timer" (read: the counter), sort of the way when you play, say, a city-building mobile game, there is a counter before you can collect resources?

Has CD actually added to the grind with their reset counter system? It is important to understand a reset counter acts a bit like a timer. Spend gems to speed it up (credits, player pack).

I am honestly just asking these questions, not posing them as truth. I would love to hear rebuttals and/or agreements.

I dont grind much out of rc events. Just spend a day to train 1 SR or UR thats it maybe like 2 to 3 hours spread the entire day while getting energies. I pulled 2 legendaries 5 boards apart yesterday.
