He's averaging 22 PPG this season, along side being a terrific perimeter defender. Its more than just a hot month. He is more of an Epic, but I'm not going to complain about him being a Legendary.

Ok, come back at the end of the season when his average point will decrease to 14 ppg, it will happen once teams adjust, seen this many times. I can't argue that he's a good defender and all, but he will not sustain this scoring. He'a a hard nosed 3 and D guy, nothing else, just having a hot month on his contract year in which he'll get overpaid like many players before.

He's having a hot month, that's all, excellent role player on fire atm. Him and Lance as legendaries is a complete joke.

I can agree with you on Lance but JB is not just hot atm. He is gonna play this way the whole season. JB has every right to be a christmas leg, he has earned it.

So? This is a Christmas themed Legendary card meaning he's been playing really well up to this point and got a Legendary card for Christmas for being Player of the Month.

We need to remember that CD has no idea what the word Legendary means in the first place. No current player except for LeBron, Kobe, Dirk, Duncan and a few others should be considered a legendary card. In no way is Jimmy Butler having a "legendary" season so far, but based on CD's idea of legendary, I think it is fair. Draymond Green does need an upgrade to UR though.

We need to remember that CD has no idea what the word Legendary means in the first place. No current player except for LeBron, Kobe, Dirk, Duncan and a few others should be considered a legendary card. Well to be fair, KG and Pierce don't deserve a Legendary card this season, but in terms of their career, they are definitely legends.

Yeah and with this logic we can also say that Stephen Curry is just on a good run, I think he'll finish with like 15 PPG and like 4 assists because he's just lucky so far.


What's funny is that Curry is known for his shooting skills, and Butler has a higher percentage shot than Curry, way better defense, and is a better team player. Is he better than Curry? No. But if you think Butler's play right now isn't worthy of "legend" tier than we'll need to cut off at least 7 other names as well. Goodbye to D-Will, Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, both Paul Millsaps (where were you when Millsap was selected as the legend card lol?), Lance Stephenson, Zach Randolph, and a few others who I CBA to name.


Not trying to be negative but I just don't see how compared to these players you think Butler doesn't deserve to be with them.

I'd say add KD for sure. KG,Pierce and players like that should get legendary throw back cards, not current.
