Here's how their base stats differ, Christmas one is better in every bast stat, so I'd say yes they will be

I think it's safe to assume that, let's hope the stats of new cards from here on out are more balanced rather then OP offense

Are the Epics and Legends better than the older cards of the tier just like last RC rewards? (Ex: New Penny is better than other legends)

Offense should be the best stat for scorers, not all around players or specialty players. Defenders should be strong defensively. I guess it's okay to overrate a few players offensively so their card doesn't suck, but they didn't provide enough cards with good enough defense to combat strong offense.

Take a look at this cheese

I fully trained Reggie Evans before combining. I put max enhanchements on both cards, each 15rebound. The game doesn't allow you to create an advantage of those enhanchements.(good to know)

The Christmas card is five points better than the original card in every stat

I disagree just a little bit. When a card gets overrated by offense its like a good defender cant stop him. If a card is useless so be it. Youre not suppose to add extra offense to a card when it doesn't have a specific skill. So if you get a worse card you get worse stats incl. Worse offense.

Of course this is just my opinion

I'm just saying it is bad when a guy like Tony Allen's defense can't stop a Tiago Splitter (the rim usually stops him), then that is a problem.
