It works like this:

Say I play in Epic tier and I reset 150 boards without an epic.

RC comes around and you change up your LU and now your in UR.

Once you go back to epic, all this boards are reset back to 0 and you have to grind back to that guaranteed reset

It actually doesn't work that way lol. He confirmed only a reset will reset your tier.

It actually doesn't I believe. If you play a lot of games in Legendary tier, enough to be close to the Leg reset, and drop down to Epic tier, you first board is going to be an Epic.

I played roughly 800 or so games in epic+ with 80+ board resets. RC came around and i dropped myself to UR++ and my first board was an UR, so I believe this is the more reasonable explanation.

He said the same thing about going back up a tier. You can play a majority of games at a lower tier then near your reset go back up and get a higher tier reset. He's confirmed this on Twitter and the forums I believe

Hey all, just wondering how big of a disadvantage is there if I have 2 players playing out of positions in season mode? I have my best 15 cards playing so I can be in the Epic tier, but I don't have any PF's at all, is that ok or not recommended at all?

I have everyone play in position during the regular season regardless of strength.

In the playoffs I put my best in.
