Lol I stayed up about a half hour or so at 2 AM when the RC started and got myself about 250 points, thinking I wouldn't fall too far back and woke up at almost 3000. Never been that low in an RC even at the start of ones and started panicking, but thankfully I've found the time with school and other crap to crack the top 450 a half hour ago.

If CD wants to just cut it off now, I wouldn't object

Also, thank god the Bulls are winning!

I have to disagree. If you barely sneak into a tier & you have a feeling you wont get far in the playoffs, then just spam a couple seasons get the better rewards & hopefully build your LU to start winning by your 3rd or 4th season. Doesn't matter when you start if your roster is completely outclassed.

This is absolutely terrible advice. There's NEVER a reason for being in a lower tier season.
, never. If you can win 100 percent in a lower season then you should be able to reach semis in a higher tier one. The notion of staying in a lower tier actually gets more absurd the worst your deck because a finals loss in lower tier = just making the playoffs (which is impossible not to do if you energize) in higher tier. Factor in getting lucky in a higher tier and there is absolutely no reasonable argument for staying in a lower tier. This isn't a matter of opinion, staying in a lower tier is the suboptimal choice the overwhelming majority of the time.

Staying in a lower tier is equivalent to betting onthe roll of a single die to show a 6 when you could bet numbers 1-5 and get a higher payout for doing so.

Not only that but losing in a higher tier is a time saver. Losing in semis gets me the same reward as winning a lower tier for >=4 hours time saved.

Umm I think you misunderstood, because I wasn't saying drop a tier. I was saying if you can't compete in that tier then it shouldn't matter when you start. Im in an Epic tier season atm, with full LU of SR pros & 1 leg/epic pro. I knew I had no chance of winning but could easily make the playoffs so I didn't bother timing my season. It doesn't matter what time my playoffs starts because I cant beat any of the higher seeds anyway..

Oh that's my mistake, but timing always matters.What if you get lucky and can go further than you thought? Also even when you're outclassed sometimes dropping in the seeding can get you favorable matchups. I was in a season as the 2 seed. The 1 seed sucked but energized more. 3 and 4 were tougher matchups. I dropped to 4, let the 2 and 3 fight it out, beat the 1 and got to the finals. I lost in the finals, but id have lost in semis if I wasn't paying attention.

I even managed to win my second leg season. If I didn't time it I would have lost more sleep, or had to give up.
