IF there's a new tier... (You know I should really stop here because what I'm about to say will actually make sense, and we all know that a lot of what comes out of this game doesn't make any sense.)

hopefully it will be called "All-Star" and will be restricted to players who are, and were actually All-Stars. If this is the case (other than ridiculously out of whack Offense ratings and other "minor" rating anomalies) then CD can't really go wrong. A guy like oh, say... Terrell Brandon would still be a weird pick over the games' many legends, BUT he was a two time All-Star, and would thus be worthy of a pick. Hell even Doc (when did people stop calling me Glenn?) Rivers made one ASG. He's in the game as a UR, but would be worthy of an All-Star card.

I'm still laughing at how its possible to cross someone's mind that Young and Monroe deserve Star cards.

Seriously...Nick Young...When they are guys like Wilt, Shaq, I would have even made a Star Gasol over Young.

Yeah, the current Lakers are nowhere near good enough to qualify as an RC team. I was actually expecting the Kobe/Gasol Lakers since they actually won championships.

Yeah, the current Lakers are nowhere near good enough to qualify as an RC team. I was actually expecting the Kobe/Gasol Lakers since they actually won championships.

CD doesn't really go for rivals as they do random teams, most of the rival teams really don't make sense. Bulls/Heat, Cavs/Warriors, Bulls/Warriors, and so on.

It doesn't make sense, it makes none. The reason it hasn't been discussed is because people have pretty much come to terms with the fact that much of the stuff in this game simply doesn't make sense. What's even weirder is that they pick 2010 Kobe, but then pick a current Nick Young. If they're going to go back in time with the RC then why feel compelled to pick current "Stars?"

Also CD needs to change the name "Rivals Clash." If it were something like "Legend Clash," "Dream Matchup," or something along those lines then almost any matchup can make sense. The word "Rival" makes it a clumsy misnomer.

My first Star finals are about to start, and I'll be up against the only other human player in my Season. Our squads are almost dead even, so it'll come down to matchups and the categories. Either way I'll be getting at least 2 stars.
