In my opinion, Lin is better than people say he is. His defense isn't great, & his ball handling is avg (remember how Chalmers & Cole embarrassed him when Miami played NY during linsanity. He could barely get the ball across half court). but he's a pretty good 3pt shooter (36%) & a great P&R passer. But it's kind of hard to display those kind of strengths when you play with James Harden & Kobe..
Just like with most players, I think its more lack of opportunity than skill. His shooting avgs & ast/to ratios are still the same, but his opportunities have been cut in half. Give him 15 shots/game & primary ball handling duties like he had in NY & he can avg 18/7 easily
