re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I think if you use a strong card (any max rare pro) to max out an epic pro/or legendary, it may give you an extra point or two. NWGame daddy says something about a rounding error. Anyway one point is not much. It probably won't affect out comes of games.

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
It appears that there is a rounding bug of some sort with high value cards (epic pro, legendary, legendary pro). This seems to occur as you are leveling it, it might wind up rounding down a number, and then at the end your card can be like 1-3 pts lower in some categories. The only way to definitely prevent this I think is to train all at once from 0 to max but the less times you train the fewer times this bug has a chance to occur I think. Again this only seems to apply to cards with high values, I have never seen it with a rare pro or lower.
If they've been around for a while I can understand a bit of a scolding but if its your very first post then I don't agree at all. Most people on forums I'm a part of (I mod one of them) don't go all the way to the very first post. Being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk is kind of sad to be honest.Comment

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
And I humbly disagree. I see players talking about playing 10,000 games and hoping for their first Legend. Those same players constantly tank every playoffs in the hope of getting an Epic they can pro. Hours and hours of grinding that burned out people before the fun events even were announced. That seems to be what I missed.
I collected every C and UC Pro by grinding, and am working on Rare now. I still got to do the collecting fun that I enjoy the hard way. And with a small surplus of Epics, now I can actually try in playoffs cause if I only get one Epic, I have a small chance of pairing it. The chase to get all the Epic Pros will last me long after 2K15 shows up... I'm done spending, any more would indeed ruin it I agree. So still plenty collecting to do. And still no clue if I'll ever Pro a Legend.
But having zero Legends and 2 Epics for my first 5,000 games doesn't sound fun to me. Especially with Rivals now here.
Different ways to play the game are cool. Kudos to you on your success with the grind... but the horror stories scare me, and being one would not have been fun for me personally at all.Moo.

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I'm all about that nonsense. I've completed all common and uncommon pros (not that much of an accomplishment), and I'm working on my rare pros.
Another side goal is to build a full max pro Miami including Mike Miller (maybe Caron Butler). I'll never actually get it done because of Three, Lebron, and Zo all being legendaries. I would love to get a Zo.Comment

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Hello all
I haven't posted on the Operation Sports forums in awhile, but I've been lurking in this thread since post 575 or so, and have really been enjoying the MyTeam Mobile app. I'm really intrigued with the random stat differences within the different Epic (Pro), Legendary, and Legendary (Pro) cards. I've read the different theories, but I cannot find any tested or reproducible results.
Since Legendaries and Epic (Pros) are hard to come by, it's definitely not easy to test. My best test I could perform was on my '72 Wilt Legendary. My friend leveled his a few levels at a time using random Rares, Uncommons, and Commons. I leveled my '72 Wilt using two Max Rare (Pro) cards (Danny Ainge and George Hill). Contrary to other people's results, however, my '72 Wilt is identical to the Spreadsheet on Page 1, while my friend's '72 Wilt has +1 MG. I have also played against a '72 Wilt with +1 Def and +1 MG. I then leveled my Isiah Thomas using a fully leveled Epic and a Max Rare (Pro), and he too came out identical to the spreadsheet. I also have +1 Def on my Dwyane Wade, +1 MG on Carmelo, +1 Off on David West (Pro), and +1 BC on the greatest Legendary of them all – Chris Mullin. All of those, however, were leveled using random Rares, Uncommons, and Commons.
So, I thought that perhaps the opposite theory was the correct one. Maybe leveling as slow as possible was best. My last Legendary was Ewing, so I leveled him a single level at a time thinking that this might produce the results I was expecting. However, he too came out identical to the spreadsheet...
After all of this, I am even more confused than ever. Perhaps they fixed the rounding error and it no longer occurs? Maybe I'm an idiot and am doing something wrong? All I know is that those tiny 1 point differences really do make a difference in Quick Games (though obviously not really in a Season).
Also, here are the stats for John Havlicek (Pro) if anyone wants to add him to the spreadsheet: 351 Off, 363 Def, 392 BC, & 415 MG (1521 Total).Comment

re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Catching up on the last few pages and wow, I'm completely blown away by how much people spending on this game! $350 for a single Legend, and one that isn't even that great (IMO). That much $$$ should at least guarantee you the player of your choice… and a dupe.
If you guys don't mind sharing, how much would you estimate you've spent on this game so far? (FWIW, my total is $0.)
