We might. Nick young was the star only because he's a current player. There's no restrictions on the RC card so we might see a RC KG..altho I doubt we'll ever see a Timberwolves RC and they actually win

Young was a good move by CD. Why would they give out Star Shaq when he's already in the game and would give many players the chance to PRO him. The game would be unbearable to play then.

Besides they said only players playing on the CURRENT Lakers can get the Star. They don't want to overflow with players from past generations.

It didn't have to be Shaq, it could have been Kareem or even Pau Gasol would be defendable. They could have even made a different Shaq card, since the current Shaq is a Magic.


But now they've proven they will absolutely stick to the current player rule, so while Nick Young sets the bar for the lowest they're definitely willing to go, I wonder if they backlash makes them hesitant to make something like a Wiggins Star.

Every Single Star that I've drafted or gotten in Season rewards has been a PG or SG with exception of 2. I even received a single star from rewards of one of the only 2 dupes I have which is a PG/SG.... Really considering sitting out this whole RC if the hawks are winning.

So they didn't want to overload the star tier with non-currentplayers but I think they should have done this. In my opinion; you cant make a star tier with non-starworthy players. If the today-players aren't good enough they aren't good enough. I feel like they made the wrong desicion on this case. I know we talked about this before, I just wanna give my opinion.

The only way to solve this; is comeback harder next year

I agree, CD shouldn't force themselves to follow that rule that Star cards in RC should only be current players, it should be players that deserve a Star card, what if they ever plan to do a Sixers RC again, whose going to be the Star card? Lol...

Well... Kinda disappointed in the Leg rewards but Because I know Walton, his DEF and REB is really good and my back-up centre is an UR, I'm going for the Blazers and pro Walton but if the Hawks win I might just settle for an Epic pro Al. Good luck everyone in the RC! (Would've gone for Dame Lil because he is one of my favourites in the league but I'm too stacked at point guard... ��)

pretty sure "Star" is just what they named the tier. Just like 2K14 had "Playoff" tier cards of players NOT in the playoffs. It has nothing to do with being star worthy. Its just an extra tier of cards to make the game last longer. Yes you want the best cards to be in the best tier, but you cant say every star card is considered a star in the league or a top 100 players in HISTORY. Just like every Legendary card isn't considered a "legendary" player.

Been asked before, but how many points have been needed to get legendary pro the last couple RCs?

I can't recall my exact totals, but the last two RCs I got at least 5500 points and got the Pro Leg.
