So do we all agree then that my team will be stronger if I start my pro Epic Horace Grant at center and have my UR Varejao as backup PF as long as my team is fully energized every game?

the 5% boost for the right position is worth to consider, too...

Are you sure? I thought that bonus was only applied in quick games. I don't believe that this is true for season games or do you have a source for that?

NWGameDad said that all rules that apply for QGs (team supports, in position 5%, etc) also apply in season games.

yes they do. I asked NWGamedad on twitter whether playing in position grants 5% bonus on Season mode and he said yes. Players abilities also activate randomly in Season games.

Sigh. yiyi it doesn't mean Butler is better than than T-Mac or VC or any of those other historical cards. They just want more current players in star tier..

e: To be honest, after the Swaggy P card I dont think they will be adding any more historical cards to the Star tier.. He flat out said they packed Star tier with historical cards at the beginning so they could add current players moving forward. So can we stop looking at this as 100% skill dependent?

That's not the case. These cards are not regular star cards, these can only be bought. There's already a jimmy butler star card. These are all new cards. There's no need for current players to be stars just because they want them to be. I doubt the rule of adding more current players in star tier applies to these special cards

Oh yeah, just noticed, every star all star is a current player except for penny

I really want that that all-star Kobe or Shaq... I'm going to buy one when they come out... I pray to God they don't give me garbage. 38/53 of the all-star cards I would be absolutely fine with!

Not really it just means that CD thinks there are more rubes with deep pockets that will buy Curry's, Butler's, and Swaggy P's than there are one who are dying for a KG or the like.



The audience is young and not big on history so flooding the market with "today's flavour" makes sense. Just be glad we aren't in the midst of the Jeremy Lin flash in the pan. He would have a dozen star cards.

Not everyone is not big on history.. I am a history fan.

I remember when Prince was a crossin cat against Charley Murphy. The blouses were known for setting fruity picks.

I love the history of the game. Dr. J is still my all time favorite. I also enjoy the current group that is out there too.

How much are the discounted packs btw?
