Anchen is correct. Your sample set is just so small you end up feeling like you're seeing patterns when it is just random. When we look across the millions of cards we give out each day then you get the expected distribution based on percentages. Go flip a coin 10 times. You should get 5 heads and 5 tails, right? I doubt it will work out that way though with just 10 flips. Try 100, a 1000, 10,000. As you get more and more the 50/50 you're supposed to get turns out to be closer to true vs. just your 10 flips alone.
