AH will be fun.
1. People think that there will be trades sounds sweet. I love people who have already made trades, they will have as much substance as a RC team(still haven't figured what dafuq that is).
2. The card that you want will rarely be available, even if it is it will be expensive.
3. It will take a while for credit normalization. If everyone has cards but limited credits, it will take some time before there will be an adequate prices and ecosystem. It will be very similar to AH on NBA2k15.

But I am excited about it. Yes, it will be announced tomorrow, but it may only be a date like in a week or so. They is typically how PR are. There will probably be a FAQ. People will be upset because they can't get the card they want, which it is all about the dead presidents.

If they knew AH would kill the game, they wouldn't have spent the time and money creating it. Trust me, they've found a way to monetize it. You don't put this much effort into something without having a way to make money from it.

I used to work as a game production engineer at Nintendo in Japan, myteam2k15 cost basically nothing to produce as it is almost entirely the same game as 2k14, and there is literally no way in hell they have been working on an AH since the game came out. Even a single not even very talented coder could have completed a functional AH long ago. Certification etc with Apple I do not doubt takes some time and effort, but this is a cheap game (production wise, licensing etc I have no idea, likely rather expensive), and a straightforward and easy game to implement an AH for, period.

Yeah that's what I expected. It's always like that, we both have the same events... I have no idea about the match making... I used to think they add up and calculate the difference, but guess not since my lebron should never lose to that pippen if that's the case... Weird

I'm a lead software architect/engineer at a Fortune 50 company. Finding good people is difficult. Finding multiple teams worth of good people is even harder. Even if they've only got one mobile developer and one back-end API developer working on this, you've also got designers, QA, product managers, etc. They've been working on this for at least a few months (over New Years break, NWGameDad said something about how they were in the final stretch). Even if those resources are shared over multiple projects, that's a lot of time and a lot of money. You don't commit those types of resources to a project without having a revenue model.
