Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
it should very obviously be based on some type of algorithm based on the actual stats of any given player based on the year the card is from... but its obviously not
im not meaning to hate on this game so much, its a fun pass time but its also laughable in a lot of ways.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
They do...just depends on what boosts occurred. Could be they got lucky with boosts and you didn't. Clearly some of his boosts activated, likely maybe the RC Lebron right before the Curry...which would have allowed him to win the Curry match-up, and if you add on the +69 OFF from Lebron plus whatever support/other team boosts activated, maybe he was able to pull the Pippen out. I wish you could click see the actual stats on the cards so you could see what boosts activated, like in a QG.Yeah that's what I expected. It's always like that, we both have the same events... I have no idea about the match making... I used to think they add up and calculate the difference, but guess not since my lebron should never lose to that pippen if that's the case... Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I thought NWGameDad said stats are derived directly from NBA 2K15 ratings, whether historical or actual. Then they must use a multiplier depending on what tier they want the card to go into. They do...just depends on what boosts occurred. Could be they got lucky with boosts and you didn't. Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I'm with you. Just one would be awesome. I just landed a Kyrie Star, which hurts because I came in 69th during the Cavs RC, 4 spots out of landing Kyrie back then (after that RC they bumped it from top 65 to 90).Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
You guys are actually both right. I built an online sports card game waaaay back in the day which was a rip off of Panini's online card game (and this one) - except it was for the NRL (Rugby). Developed it with 1 other dev (Flash - at the time) with pretty much just 1 person on design and 1 producer, it was a freelance gig.
You can make this kind of game easily, BUT, to the scale and quality that CD has done there is a little bit more involved (as eVizions said), especially on the back-end to handle game sessions etc. Not to mention the motion graphics and cards are quite nice too (except Xmas cards, bleh, they're fugly).
Anyway, seems like there's a lot of IT/dev's here :wink:Comment
