Here is what I think the rewards should be rivals

Top 1: Rivals Pro or both of the Rivals card
Tier 1: Winning teams Rivals Card
Tier 2: Random Legendary Pro of the winning team
Tier 3: Random Legendary of the winning team
Tier 4: Random Epic Pro of winning team
Tier 5: Random Epic of winning team
Tier 6: Random Rare pro of winning team
Tier 7: x2 Random rare care of winning team
Tier 8: Random rare

But maybe, that's to rewarding.

The next rival event he said that he will tell us all the info on teams and rewards shortly.

Your last question is easy of course u will have to spend that muxh time. The 20th ranked person had 23,000 points so at best it will go down to 20,000 (which i doubt will happen). So expect 22,000 point to even have a chance at top 20.

At 20,000 points, at 5 points per win, that's 4000 games you need to win over the span of five days. (Excluding hot streaks, which more or less will cover for games you lose.)

So, 800 games per day, and if you win 2 games a minute, that's 400 minutes or 6.66--let's say 7--hours of playing a day.

True buts its also better not to waste his time answer questions that r not important. Od much rather have him answer some questions regarding the direction of the app and what he thinks of some of these excellent ideas that people suggested.

All rival event information will be available soon and its not like he will come here to post it days earlier because u asked. He usually comes here to post information that is already available on the app.

Its actually closer to 8 hours if u r super efficient. Also take into account waiting for network and the most annoying one having to go dispose of the useless card every 20-40 games. All in all, 8 hours per day and 12 hours the last day.

Its a full time job my man.

Right, network, upgrading cards, etc. etc. That's bananas.

Hell, if you worked a second full time job and used all of that money to buy cards, you would at least have two or three legends, as well as some pro epics. 40 hours * $10 an hour, 400 bucks, 20 epic packs.

I doubt he will say anything, I asked and I'm just hoping he will answer.. mostly because depending on this next rivalry event will determine if I keep playing or not. Not that he or any dev really cares if one person stops but I'm curious as to know... it'll be a long ways before he will be able to discuss what is coming next in terms of big updates or changes so the here and now is what I am concerned about.

I've seen alot of discussion about how people build their quick game lineups, so I thought I would chime in on my personal strategy.

I keep all of my cards and their stats in a text file. I read in this text file into a python program, and I generate all possible combinations of 5 cards. I loop over all possible combinations and find the 5 cards that maximizes the total of the top 2 players in every stat and stat combination.

I've been doing it this way for a long time and I have a quick game record of 8618-1190. Most of the losses came very early on in playing the game. I am able to win almost all quick games without going to overtime. In the rivals event, I would sometimes pick a 3 pointer if the 5 pointer had way too many total games played. I figured 3 points is better than 0.

I also generate season lineups this way by simply restricting the selection of players to have 1 from each position. I also have a "matchup" function which takes the total stats in each category for an opponent, and maximizes the total difference between our decks. So for instance, if a player in the playoffs has much better cards than me, this function usually suggests stacking up on the 2 stats that they are worst in. I have pushed several people with ~100-500 better total stats than me to 7 games with this strategy. I have yet to luck into a win (and there is some guessing involved as people change their lineups when they realize how I am beating them).

In case people were wondering my current quick game lineup with this method is Rubio, Avery Johnson, Jamal Crawford, Kidd-Gilchrist, and Anthony Davis. I have Doc Rivers but not Jason kidd, and no thaddeus young still.

That is super impressive.

EDIT- On a totally unrelated note, I'm in the middle of a Playoff race that's *gasp* actually a little exciting.

I have the 3rd or 4th best team in my season. Over the course of the season, I thought I had the second best team, and was prepared to tank in round one of the playoffs. I played my way to 54 wins, then played my guys out of position to make sure they were good and drained for the playoffs.

Playoffs start this morning, and the one guy I thought was better than me, goes down 0-3, not charging his cards (he had stopped caring two days ago, it seemed, but I figured he'd be back for the playoffs), I see that, and immediately get my team back in order.

Right after I do this, I notice that my first round opponent is actually a good deal better than me, but he hasn't been energizing either. Then I look on the other side of the bracket, and there's ANOTHER guy with a better team, sitting back, not energizing.

Anyway, the first dude goes on to lose 4-0, I come back and win 4-3, but so does the guy on the other side of the bracket. At least 4 of the series in the first round went to 7 games for various reasons, and as it is now, we're in round 2. There is one other guy with a better team, but not much better. The guys with the REALLY good teams are already out. Maybe they've surmised that the first round tank is even BETTER than winning it all (I'm not sure I disagree with that), since winning one or two more random useless epic cards really isn't doing much.

Either way, this is the only season I can remember that has actually been legitimately interesting.
