Do you not get it? You didn't waste your time, you can just grind for this event. The people in the top 20 already grinded, they can't get that time back. If you thought the rewards weren't worth your time, grind this time. EyegotSoul, Shokase, Twista, me etc already spent the time. If you spent the exact same time I did but on this event you'd get so much more stuff than the people in the top 20 last event did for their time.

You spent the time, then they changed the rewards, and now you think somehow that your time is more valuable than mine was, because you spent it. Look, we both made a calculated decision. I was right, and now you're upset that you were wrong. That doesn't mean you should get extra rewards.

It is obvious that everyone has mixed emotions in regards to the last event rewards and this one. The past is the past and now we all move forward. Let's stop the arguing and get back on a positive note.

When you have two of the same card you are able to combine them together to create a "Pro" version of that card. The Pro version immediately raises the stats and allows you to level it up again. However, the base stats for the Pro card is based on the level of the 2 cards you combined at the time. That means to make the best possible Pro card you need to level up BOTH cards to maximum BEFORE combining them. Typically Pro cards are better than a solo card of the next rarity up.


Rivals Clash is a tournament game mode that appears every other week. You select one of the 2 Rivals teams for the week and you score points as you play. The points result in your receiving a rank on the leaderboard and you win extra prizes based on your rank. Tomorrow morning the next Rivals Clash event will start with the Pre-Game where you'll be able to read the rules and see which two teams are playing in the event (Spurs and Rockets this time).

Well for me, the positive note is that the rewards for this event are awesome!

I've got about 19000 total draft picks, 17 epics with no duplicates, and no legendaries. I'm usually 3rd or 4th best in my seasons. I desperately need a few cards to keep my interest going.

I have a feeling that alot more people will grind hard this time, and I'll be working all week, so I'm not sure I will be able to keep up.

Very true! This is where the "younger" generation will have an advantage on us, haha. My luck this week we will have all kinds of crimes to solve and I will be swamped with cases lol.

Have you tried tanking in the first round? I've managed to get an epic pro by doing this.
Well a lot of people in your situation have set the bar at 500 (a legend). I suppose the epic pro at 2000 isn't bad either.

I just want to say one thing to this point.

Going into the first Rivals, I had a lineup around 2200 across. I grinded for 5 hours a day, really getting into the app like I hadn't ever before. I finished 770, and got Rare Elgin Baylor.

And I have 4 kids. And my own business.

It's absurdly selfish of you to think the only people who grinded are the ones who won the Kobe card. I have yet to see the guy who finished #21 whining and moaning about only getting an Epic pack for his effort.

If you truly thought the first Rivals would be the last Rivals... you were foolish. But that doesn't mean the Kobe is worse than the other hundreds of people who grinded for hours a day, didn't get crap, and have yet to complain once. You knew the prize... you got the prize. There will be more Rivals after this one... I suggest those who got burned out take this one off for their sanity.

Remember he may have gotten a boost for the upgrade to the PF/C position.



Just make sure you're fully charged each game. That guy is in my QG list.

I've played many many seasons but I think I'm finally going to be undefeated lol. I didn't energize my players at all during season, just rotated few times. 85-0 after first round. I deserve a cookie!!! lol jk.
